My second poster for my art history project. I chose Miller's "We Can Do It!" poster but with Maggie. I thought it fit the theme of "rise up" since Maggie is trying to get Hilltop to fight the Saviors, and you know, girl power and stuff. The original poster is much more vibrant, but I wanted to desaturated it a bit so it fit a little more with the seasons promo grayscale look. I had to rush this so it doesn't look too great, but when I have time I want to go back in and work on it more. Lauren Cohan's face is so hard to draw oh my gosh.

The first poster I did for my art history project. We had to take two artists from history who were known for their advertisement work and recreate one of their pieces but with something modern advertised. This one is of Flagg's "I Want You" poster with Uncle Sam trying to recruit people for the war, but with Rick Grimes trying to recruit for his war against the Saviors. The promo stuff AMC did for this season was all in a theme of grayscale with red accents and the phrase "rise up." I wanted to incorporate that style AMC was advertising with into this. I actually really like how this turned out and I had fun making it, I just wish I had more time to work on it (I waited last minute, of course). I'll probably go back when I have time and work on it a little more.
