(Based off the version of her in my head lol. also I just love her <3)
(She's a Afro Latina and pansexual in my personal headcanon so just imagine her like that throughout this post lol!)
To start this off she's 100% a Niall Horan Stan AND she full on sobbed when one direction broke up in 2015. She remembers the exact place she was when she saw the news. (She was in the schools bathroom, Charity Burbage watched her break into sobs and had to comfort her awkwardly.)
She is a Winnie the pooh lover!! That is literally everything to her and she can and WILL argue about the lore and episodes with you. (No Sirius it's not "just a kids show" it's a work of art!! Please stop laughing.)
Mary has this weird one-side rivalry with squishmallows and if you ask her about it she will lie about the real reason every time. so far the lies have ranged from "They owe me money." "Look at him and tell me he's not evil." "They burned down an orphanage." "I saw one move as a child." and her favorite is "The creator of them is my uncle and my dad is mad at him."
She is a Pinterest it girl tbh. She probably has like 14k followers on it and all she does is post outfit inspirations and pictures of her shoes.
Going along with the Pinterest thing, She totally was one of those kids who wasn't allowed to have social media and was only allowed to have Pinterest. (She read tumblr posts off Pinterest 100%)
She loves to watch baking and cooking shows and she begs Remus to watch them with her. He does but then all the marauders show up and loudly talk over the show and she feels mean telling them to shut up, so she just sits there. After that, she sticks to only inviting Marlene and Dorcas. (Lily always falls asleep while watching and Mary feels guilty waking her up.)
She 100% is a whimsical girl she just gives those vibes.
Her and all her friends meet up every Tuesday to bake together, originally it started off as just her and Lily but soon Marlene joined and invited Dorcas who invited Pandora then it spiraled. The marauders were the last to know and that's totally cuz James can't bake to save his life. (He's the resident taste tester.)
She owns a pair of Mary Janes that look like cats. (Specifically the black and white kitty Mary Janes from T.U.K. I just feel like she would like them.)
She is absolutely obessed with painting her nails and her favorite thing to do is paint them like the hungry caterpillar!!
She mainly very private on soical media and on really posts for a friends birthday and that's it.
She's very well-known for being clumsy and her knees are constantly covered in scrapes and Band-Aids. (Winnie the pooh ofc!!)
Thought she had a crush on Sirius for like a week then realized she just really wanted his hair.
She once called Regulus hot and Sirius refused to talk to her for a week. (They got paired up for a potions project that exact day and Sirius made it harder then it had to be.)
She just looks like she would be a Merlin Stan tbh idk how to really explain it but she does AND SHE CRIED DURING THE FINAL!!
There has always been a rumor that she's secretly dating at least one of her friends but there is never a rumor that she's secretly dating James and they were both lowkey offended over it. (They tried to start one but it never spread around.)
