Propp identified a sequence of narrative elements (or 'functions') that typically occurred within Russian fairy tales.  He identified 31 functions in Russian folklore and fairy tales. These functions occurred in a typical order within each story, with some variation.

The global impact of Modernism [Powder paint]

Collage makes it possible for everything to be something else.  For me the technique of collage is a tool of communication in my hands.  My need to unveil my life, to bring out my ideas, to express myself, my era, my joy, has leaded me to scissors and paper.  In reality I still explore the world and myself.  I just try to understand myself and learn things about me.  My first step in the process of making collage is to find my elements, pictures, words, articles, souvenirs, memorabilia, and so forth.  I am fascinated by the textures, colors, and histories of my daily finds.  These objects that I have kept all the previous years or left forgotten in my pockets, seems that they were waiting the right time to be used.  Friends and places bring images to my mind.  Once the main materials assembled, I can start cutting and slice tear and manipulate the pieces after that I have done my choices in where my collage is going to go.  When I put my items one next to the other, I can change the meanings or I have more ideas for my next step to build something else.
