Last night tears ran down my face. 

Because once again you chose someone else to embrace. 

I just wish you would choose me for once instead of making me feel so out of place. 

But you never cared, because you never wanted me anyway and that has always been the case. 

So all I ask is that you try to let me go, so that way I can go and have the strength to pack my suitcase. 

I just wish I knew why I was never good enough for you in the first place. 

So this is my goodbye, not to our friendship, just to any hope I held onto that one day you would be mine and our fingers would finally be interlaced. 

Because I am just tired of wishing for something more and not being chased.
