so for anyone who has been checking in here, thank you for your patience! hopefully this will be the last of tech issues and shadowbans that this blog will have to deal with!

hmm, tbh you kind of just have to make do with the other options. usually the main options are threads, sns posts and comments, and then hosting/attending hyperbeams right? some groups also have an additional writing prompt or task that gives you some space if you don’t have a thread to respond to. i’d say also try throwing out random or open starters to just show others you want to write. that’s another thing that can also help other muns who want to write find you. worst come to worst, you can always reach out to the admins to see if you can supplement activity with anything else outside hyperbeams (like self-paras or musing posts with a certain word count, etc). the worst they can say is no and you’ll know if the group will work for you or not.

that’s understandable and good that you recognize it’s something you don’t like. get it off your chest and out of your system. hyperbeams just aren’t some people’s cup of tea and there’s nothing wrong with that. idk i’d say try to take advantage of the rate people jump ship when a new rp opens. try out an rp that’s recent enough where you can meet others at the same level of development. you can always indicate in your profile you don’t engage in hyperbeams. that could help writing focused muns navigate towards you if you haven’t given up on gen yet.

anything the community is interested in. faceclaims, experiences, pet peeves or things that bother you/you like seeing, favorite dynamics or plots, stuff you don’t think gets enough attention, the list goes on. whatever’s on your mind!
