Lu Han firmly believes that this world is made of faith, and trust, pixie dust…and Park Chanyeol’s idiocy.
“I’m not the one who said ‘To die would be an awfully big adventure.’” He shouts, almost dropping Chanyeol as he grits his teeth and urges his wings to keep them up in the air.
“I didn’t think I’ll die because your skinny, small body isn’t enough to support my weight!” Chanyeol hollers back.
Only idiots insult the height and size of the one who determines if he will live or end up as a messy pool of blood and bones ten thousands feet below, preferably on someone’s rooftop.
“One more word, Park Dumbyeol, and my fingers will say bye bye to your collar.”
It is when he is busy saving Chanyeol’s stupid ass that Lu Han wonders just why he had leave his kingdom to join Chanyeol in Neverland. The promise of whispering stars and great discoveries, sure, had been tempting enough, but a week later and he had started regretting his decision.
“Watch that cloud!” Chanyeol shrieks, eyes wide as he kicks his feet and the sudden movement from him almost startles Lu Han into letting go.
“Stop shouting, will you?” He hisses, exerting all of his energy to go right, past the tuft of wispy white and heading east instead of north. “What about the boys, by the way?” He remembers Minseok and Junmyeon and the rest waiting for them back at the creek.
“They can wait a while more, Lu Han,” Chanyeol replies, “In case you haven’t noticed, the old Hook is still after us.”
Lu Han turns, sees the captain with those damn birds, and he almost wants to throw Chanyeol at them so he can just return to his kingdom of peace, quiet and not-Chanyeol.
“So much for adventure,” he mutters.
