For facial features, Leave your comfort zone! Draw old people! Draw people you deem unattractive! For finding references for different kinds of people i actually recommend Against using pinterest, Like i try looking up "middle aged person" and its always some sexy model like DAMN. I usually find better luck just looking up stock images on google lol

Here are some notes on faces

Sometimes i find myself drawing the same feature over and over again when it comes to making a new character design, sometimes i can never draw the reference accurately and i revert back to my own style and comfort zone, From there i look away from real person references and start studying other peoples' art! I like looking through someone else's' eyes and how they draw things, its refreshing! For the past few years I've really eyeballed Greg Smallwood's art... because he draws comics and has to draw all kinds of people!!! He's not just drawing hot twinks all day

Same thing goes for bodies, draw fat people, draw muscular people. Don't be discouraged if it looks wrong to you. You will eventually pinpoint what looks wrong when you compare your drawing to your reference. It's also nice to just walk away from your studies every once in a while. You don't have to draw PEOPLE all the time, it aggravated me when i didn't know how to correctly draw fat and muscle, that's when i learned to take breaks from People Drawing and just draw like. A chair or something. Drawing an animal or a plant. Then coming back to body/anatomy studies with fresher eyes and a new vision that sees SHAPES rather than what line needs to go where. does that make sense?
