This is my research on magic, and it's conjurors. They have moved on a lot from witches nowadays. Most of my research is Fairuza Baulk in The Craft. The greatest witch film I have ever seen. She is amazing in it and I love her character. Most of my research shows them is ripped black clothes, their are in rags. I most certainly won't be having this. They will be well dressed, but they won't be just witches. They will be ordinary creatures with different levels of magic ability. Magic opens up thousands of doors. This is why I have chosen to include it so much.

Alice in wonderland inspired Christmas cards this year. Winter wonderland. This is alice so far. Just experimenting tonight that. On Sunday I shall become a production line of them.

This is my elf page, which you will gather by the word Elf written in thick black at the top. I have gathered a great deal of evidence and research on the topic of Elves. I have learnt so much about them in all their various forms. Including those which help old Father Christmas. From what I can understand is a lot of people merge their characteristics with pixies and fairies. My elves will be without wings, similar to that of the elves in Heitz's The Dwarves series. They are creatures of beauty and order. Which Tolkien also used this idea that they are higher beings. Elves think of themselves as higher beings, close to gods. Tolkien's idea. But the elves are not. I've depicted them as not the enemy as such, but a rude arrogant race, that only like themselves. They will have the characteristic, and iconic leaf shaped ears. Thanks to Tolkien again. The creature is of Norse mythology like a lot of our folklore, and are as old as the mythology of Germanic elves. I also love the idea of dark elves, not to the extent of the Älfs. The main character, Rowly is himself an elf, but he is different, he is tolerant of others. He is kind and courteous. Also curious.

A days knitting has caused this. This is what it is like to live with a knitter, if anyone wanted to know. We do this..... A lot.

A new dress, a new wig. Not sure about her leggings. It was such a bugger to get the right leg on that I can't bare to take them off again.
