When you thought it would be easy peasy lemon squeezy but it turns out to be difficult difficult lemon difficult.

If I ever stop talking to you & remove you from my life, I hope you understand how hard it was for me. I have a bad habit of holding onto the little bit of good in ppl, no matter how bad they clearly are for me. So if I don’t fw you anymore, it’s bc you pushed me past my limits

Sometimes I just have days where I really, really need to be reassured that people still like or want me or want to be around me and I feel bad because I can’t communicate this need to people but I know they can’t possibly instinctively know when I need this reassurance

Listen, i know you’re feeling like you can’t handle this. I know how true that seems right now. But in a year’s time, you’ll be standing tall, flushed with pride looking back at how far you’ve come. Getting through this might be messy, and tough as hell, but just keep holding on tight.

Hearing “I’m so proud of you” when you feel like you aren’t doing enough really does lift a lot of weight off of you.

how we act alone when we don’t feel like we have witnesses.. that is the genuine self.. me walking around my room punching the air talking to myself in a bad southern accent, that’s ME baby. you’re never going to know me like i know me. haha.

there are times when the sadness seems like it will never end. the days drag on and it’s hard not to feel hopeless. but there’s so much more to life than right now. some of the best days of your life could be ahead of you. there’s a whole future waiting for you and it’s brighter than you can predict.

is it because of my period? is it because tis winter? is it because of my regular depression?
