Omaelse 2.0

How was vacation and living in the restricted area of GDR? This question is discussed in episode 5 of our roadtrip. Incidentally we also met the team of Joey Kelly in Hötensleben.

This time we are visiting the border museum Eichsfeld. Afterwards we are reaching the Harz and hope, that our mopeds are able to climb those steep hills.

This days stage takes us from Wildeck along the border to Leinefelde-Worbis - east of Göttingen. On our way we learn a lot about the border. Unfortunately we  also had the first problems with our mopeds. English subtitles are available. 

Our second stage startet at the museum point alpha. Later we had an interview with the members of the history association in Wildeck-Obersuhl. English subtitles available. 

This summer we did a roadtrip with our mopeds from the 1970s. We wanted to learn more about the german border between FRG and GDR and drove from the famous fulda gap to the baltic sea. English subtitles available. Hope you like it!
