Baking cookies is one of the rare traditions I stick to every year when the holidays approach. My mother also bakes but I like different kinds of cookies like Gingerbread and Speculoos which she isn't that found of ... therefore I make a big batch for gifting away and keeping a small amount for myself to have during the time.
Of course I also nibble on Mom's cookies, she makes the best ones after all.
