Rip Jason, my rescue Boa.. even though I only had you for 6 months, I loved you so much. Jason has a rough go, he lived with 14 other Boas (yes in the same enclosure) and he was the last one of the bunch, he had the tip of his tail cut at one point, and we discovered he was missing most of his teeth and had a fracture in his jaw, which unfortunately caused his untimely demise.. he's not suffering anymore. And we gave him the best life we could. Love you and miss you Jason

Rest in piece my sweet baby Elektra.. Unfortunately she passed away from old age, she was 11 and going to be 12 next month.. I miss her dearly.. she was always so spunky and definitely the boss of the house. I will love you forever ♡

if your response to learning an animal video/ pic/ gif is actually an animal in distress and is not ‘cute’ is to get angry about things being ‘ruined’, or to complain that you just wanted to relax by looking at cute pics, you are enabling animal mistreatment
it’s okay to feel exasperated or upset- animal mistreatment is common, and it’s upsetting to learn something you thought was sweet is actually bad. however, to suggest people are doing the wrong thing by informing you of it is to say ‘my enjoyment matters more than an animal’s wellbeing’, and that is messed up

My roommate and I were gifted a rescue common boa and the last expo I attended. I wanted to let her settle before posing about her! Her age is unknown as she was surrendered to the rescue with 14 other snakes, she was the last remaining and has a funny little tail! We're still thinking of names and are open to suggestions

Genetically unhealthy and bred purely for the aesthetic of the fish with no regard to their quality of life and well being.
I disagree, I think parrot fish would be more like pugs. They can't even close their mouth..
