I don't care what anyone says, to me, rails are an essential part of a skateboard set up. Not only do they preserve the graphic of your deck, they make boardslides easier, your board easier to carry and I think they add an extra depth to the all round look of the board. This is my second set of @santacruzskateboards guard rails. Ive tried a few different rails and have found these to be the best quality. If lockdown has taught me anything, it's that I still love skating. There was a time in my early twenties when I started to feel a bit foolish skating at the age I was. I realise now this was a bogus feeling that I should not have allowed to corrupt my self esteem. Picking the board up again has established a purpose for me. It gives me exercise which helps keep my anxiety at a low level, not only this but the creative side of it fuels my passion for the art.
