(b) Rick Prime puppeteering his decoys like Eyepatch Morty and Puppetmaster Rick did (or maybe with Unity Prime playing a part in it)

AND

(c) Rick Prime being like a virus that contaminates more gullible Ricks, absorbs them and makes them a part of his own web

are true, then...

...it's likely Rick C-137 was completely honest here lol

As in:

Rick C-137 did have a fight with a version of Rick. Said version fired the Omega Device against Dianes during the fight

Morty just missed it (I'm dead XD)

The fight did take place on top of Hoover Dam (?? I guess?? Maybe? I mean it's a kinda dumb fighting location, but what can I say? This could be a lie. I'm more puzzled as to why Prime would build the first Omega Device on top of Hoover Dam. And are there even spikes at the bottom of it?? ANYWAY)

Said version of Rick got badly injured during the fight by falling on a sharp spike (lol how anticlimatic) and was dying.

Therefore Rick C-137 defeated the "version of Rick who killed his wife"...

...and also did something to free him from the influence of Rick Prime's possession/mind control/virus.

So, as he got to die a free man, the Rick thanked Rick C-137. Like a werewolf.
