First things first: I've been studying theory of structural dissociation for a few months and most about plurality for 2-3 years, also know that I could make some mistakes, so I apologize if I misinformed anyone

There are 4 different types of categories for plurals

1. Created: created plurals are formed by intentionally forming new selves, this includes but not limited to practices such as:

- Hypnosis: getting into a trance state, being open to suggestions, visualizing a person, and letting the subconscious mind picking the headmate's personality and identity

- Thoughtforms: visualizing a person/entity, consistently interacting with them, later they'll develop a mind of their own

- Soulbonding: Engaging deeply with fictional characters until they are experienced as autonomous inner voices or presences

- Mediumship/channeling: Ritual or trance practices to invite alternate “voices” or personas

- Subliminals: listening to hidden affirmations in a song that could lead to symptoms of plurality

- Self-talking: consistently talking to yourself (back-forth conversation) to the point the other you feels separated

If you can create a headspace, try creating a headmate;

2. Spiritual: Spiritual plurals are created from spiritual beliefs, there isn't any other explanation, it's just belief and rituals;

3. Adaptive: here also lies DID/OSDD, but it's not in the endogenic category so it's not included here mostly, common formations are due to autism, adhd, bipolar, bpd, OCD, schizophrenia, and other conditions, but it isn't always about the conditions, some CDD lsystems have endogenic alters, due to ANPs where they form from needing to handle specific tasks in their life (working, teaching, parenting, etc)

4. Spontaneous/Unknown: the very known stereotype about endogenic systems! Not much studied by me though.

Now, quoting what you said: "«the future is plural» is admitting you want traumatized children" is deeply invalidating and offensive to plural systems, including spiritual, those who regret becoming plural, those who became plural intentionally due to trauma, quoting you again: "children who were hurt to the point they formed Dissociative disorders" again this is offensive for plurals, every plural is dissociative naturally, however that doesn't harms them or anyone else.

So in short you don't need DID/OSDD or trauma to become a plural system, because plurality is the symptom, but you don't need a whole disorder to be valid, there's no "actual" plural.
