Third big knit ever— summer socks!! :)
Pattern: Lush Lemonade Socks by StoneKnits
Matching gloves and socks!!
Two self striping yarns held together - one brown and one green for the gloves. Held with plain yarn for the socks
Pattern is the Penny gloves by petiteknit and the Chaussette Colère by Rebecca Colère (french pattern - it’s 3x1 rib)
The satisfaction when you finish your knit and only have the washing and blocking left to do!
Pattern is the Illusion vest by EMRKNITS, i modified it to have a more boxy fit.
I used the Heritage 6 yarn by CascadeYarns
Took a month to complete, started it on January 15th, finished it on February 15th!
For those wondering how it looks on a person :
The illusion on can be broken if you have boobs.
I decided to wear a binder under it so the pattern is intact (i also have a small chest so it helps)
Just need to block 🎴

Just finished this Puro Pullover, pattern by Rui Yamamuro in the Eco Tweed Chunky by Estelle Yarns
how it started:
how it ended:
I finished knitting my first pair of socks please clap
Made them with a mystery cashmere blend yarn I bought second-hand and some kid silk mohair I wanted to use up. They are surprisingly comfy and not itchy.
Now I am become stranded colorwork, consumer of yarns.
Split for sleeves on my modified loupy cardigan! I worked on the body for a smidge and then I switched to working on the sleeves so that I can have a better idea of how long I can make the body with the yarn that remains. I’m not planning to do the cinched in waistband like the pattern calls for, and I’m hoping I can make it longer instead of cropped, but we shall see.

Ok definitely taking a 4-6 week hiatus from my own work. I thought I was ready to keep knitting but my hands are aching again really bad this time.
I’m pleased w how these socks turned out but I was not expecting the variegation to be almost identical across the instep.
Used this pattern and this yarn.

Starting a new knitting project 🧶
It's official. I've knit all the hexagons for this project.
I played with the idea of doing a solid one of each background colour, but I think not. It's not needed. I'll move next to weaving in ends and blocking, before sewing them together and doing a border.
I knit the first hexagon in September 2023, and have been aiming for one/month since then. It's wild to think that I'm done all the hexagons now
Let the blocking begin - 1st of likely 3 rounds of blocking
I tidied up up the loose ends (minus the final row, since all the hexagons are on waste yarn with live stitches still), and also closed up the hole in the center of each one.
Final layout plan:
A bit of blocking, fixing the centre's and leaving in (most of) the loose ends did wonders
I will be putting it all together by kitchener stitch, here is a sneak peak:

My intarsia setup is chaos-based thoughts and prayers much appreciated in this difficult time
At least Woodstock is basically done! He is born!
Two pairs done, two more to go (in black!)
