My friend loved as a child Alice in Wonderland, but the weird live-action version from 1999.

In this movie, there is this scene where the turtle is getting cooked in a soup by the Gryphon while singing the song « Beautiful soup ». We often joke around with this song so i decided to sew for her a quilted banner for her referencing it!

Finally finished my quilted jacket!!!

I used the pattern Burda 6024 for the basic shape, made my own quilt with a few Ruby Star fabrics, using Thinsulate as my batting (-20 celsius isolation). I modified the collar using the « Collar Pack » by PatternCosPatterns.

The bonnet is the pattern « Printemps Madeleine » by Rebecca Colère (pattern in french)
