Uhhhh hi?

I know it’s been… a minute. But I just wanted to let you guys know, I am no longer writing. I never really finished (or started) the blog move, and I don’t think I ever will.

I deleted the gmail that was connected to that blog and some other stuff I was using in connection to “Knightingale Writes” since I hadn’t done anything substantial with it.

However, I don’t think I’ll be deleting/deactivating this blog. I’ve seen a lore of writers leave various platforms, and while I understand why, I always missed their stories I could no longer read. While I doubt my writing would have that effect on people, I would like to think at least one person likes it enough. Or other writers could be inspired by/learn from my nonsense they way I was by reading the stories of authors now gone from this site.

So, I’m keeping this blog up, but there will be no continuation of writing. I hope you all enjoyed while it lasted :)

Hello! This weekend, I will officially begin moving Tumblr's!

Due to complications as a side blog, I will be moving all my content here to a new main blog, specifically for writing. I will also be coping all my original work (quotes, chapters, etc.) and reposting it on my new Tumblr!

I will leave this side blog up for about a few weeks to a month from here so that I can direct y’all to the new one, but this will ultimately be deleted once that has happened.

Hello everyone, KG here!

This blog is still on Hiatus, but I have some plans to tell y’all.

I want to create a new main-blog that is specifically for writing. A Knightingale-Writes main blog, with a side blog for each of my fandoms.

I feel like this would be the best idea for several reasons:

1. This blog (Knight-ingale) is a side blog, and that creates issues for me. I can’t respond w/out using my main personal Tumblr, I don’t want my personal Tumblr (which I use mainly for browsing and reblogging things I find to be important) 

2. I intended for this side blog to encompass ALL of my personal writing, but it’s been consumed by Twilight. Twilight isn’t the issue, but I know everyone who comes to this blog is here for the Twilight, and I don’t want to clog up the feed w/ unrelated content.

3. It would be more organized for me! It’s probably obvious that I happen to be a scatterbrained fool, and having all my writing oriented posting in one thing would be much better for my weird little brain to handle, I think!

4. I already have a whole system in my head for how I would run it! I’ve been thinking about this for a while.

Well, that concludes that! Please let me know what you guys think on this, your feedback and criticism is the best tool to have changes get done and to help my improve!

Hey guys, it’s KG.

So, there been... a lot of intense shit happening in my real life/off blog right now (has been for a while) and I need to take a break.

I can’t balance running a house, online school, my own mental state, and the things happening in my life all at once. You can probably tell this has been happening for a while, with all my upload inconsistencies and all.

My parents (whom I currently live with) are getting divorced. My stepmother has left the house (which is for the better, she’ll be happier that way) and my father is doing a lot of out-of-town work. Because of this, I’m trying to keep the house running while doing online school, which is already overwhelming to a terrifying degree, and I’m... not doing very well.

My stepmother (who I love very dearly) has been on my case about grades while running the house, saying “There is no excuse to miss a class when ‘class’ is in your bedroom” I literally got up EARLY for school, and fell back asleep because I stayed up until 3am doing school work. I am currently unable to set more than one alarm because I have an actual alarm clock (1 time set only) and not a phone to set several. I’m particularly frustrated about this because someone who’s choosing to leave me/exit my life thinks they can just make assumptions and unfairly judge me when they’re not even around to support me.

My older brother, who was supposed to move out months ago, does the bare-minimum to help me around the house and uses his “I can’t move or get a job right now because my SSN and Birth Certificate are missing” as a reason to do barley anything, while also not looking for said paperwork.

My younger brother is also doing online schooling as well, so I can’t blame him much for not being very helpful with everything going on. I know my little brother is going through a lot, since his mother is leaving. He’s still young and currently in my father’s custody, I think? They haven’t really worked everything out yet. This is a big change for him compared to me, since I was already a child of divorce.

The plan is to come back at the beginning of December (or January, at the latest) During this time, I’ll try to write/finish one-shots, procure memes/incorrect quotes, and draft/write more Afterlight chapters.

I’m sorry if this upsets any of you, but this is something I need to do right now. At least until I can catch up in my school work and get back into an actual schedule of doing things, rather than my current “tired, probably depressed, and self loathing cycle”
