You pretend you don't think about them, keep busy. Makes it work for a while. Then you remember them, and the wave of feels hits you like a tsunami, and again you pretend to ignore that too. Disastrous, completely disastrous.

People don't realize how much strength it takes to pull your own self out of a dark place mentally. So, if you've done that today or any day, I'm proud of you.
