The other week my little sister had her farewell ceremony/graduation from her elementary school (the school goes to grade 8, she's off to high school in the fall) and all the kids were walking across the stage to get their certificates one by one. And I was really nervous, because when I was growing up I had no friends, and when I did the same ceremony barely anyone clapped, and my family weren't there, and no one came to take my picture like all the other kids. This time our entire family was present and when she went up she got a lot of cheers. I was really relieved but at the same time I feel like? Idk. It was so different for me and that was such a long time ago but sometimes the difference between the life my siblings got and the one that I got is so apparent. I don't think I'm bitter or anything I just feel weird. Like, oh ok. I guess that's just how it is. Idk I'm just writing this down to get it out
