After you not replying to minjeongs messages for 20 minutes straight, you then now we're present outside her window. Again.
Minjeong saw you outside her window, but she ignored you. I mean she's pissed, who wouldn't be???? She focused on the assignment on her desk acting as if she didn't notice your presence outside the window, as she continued to try to ignore your lresence and the constant rustling and noises you made just to get into her room soon disturbed her.
She rolled her eyes and turned around from her chair, Just as she thought. You were sitting on her bed facing the window, the night sky behind her. The familiar sight of you sitting there, with your back towards Minjeong, made her heart ache. It was a mix of relief and pain. She cleared her throat, making her presence known. The sound of her voice broke the silence, and you turned your head slightly, acknowledging her.
Minjeong took a step closer, her eyes locking onto your tired form. She wanted to say so many things, but the words stuck in her throat. Instead, she just stood there, watching you, waiting for you to say something.
As you continued to stay in silence minjeong soon got impatient
"Are you just going to sit there and ignore me?" Minjeong's voice was firmer now, her irritation evident. She crossed her arms, waiting for some kind of response from you.
"are you really gonna start an argument right now, minjeong? Your parents are home, I know you don't wanna get caught do you now?" You say, tiredness evident in your voice and face even though your mask is still on.
"Don't change the subject. You can't just barge into my room without saying anything and act like nothing happened. I have a lot to say, and you're going to listen." Minjeong's eyes widened in disbelief, anger flaring within her. How could she just talk about her parents like nothing happened between them?
"I'm not in the mood to listen to your scoldings again, you know." you slowly stood up, clearly tired. You turned around to face her then taking off your mask frustratedly. Your cheek had a small cut, It was bleeding a bit. A cut also present on your arm that cut through your suit, you was bleeding quite a lot. But still managing to keep a nonchalant face, this was how y/n always was.
Minjeong's eyes widened when she saw the cuts on Y/n's cheek and arm. The nonchalant expression on her face only added to her irritation. Did she not care about her injuries at all? "You don't care about yourself. You know that? You just barge in here, barely saying anything, with fresh wounds all over you, and expect me not to say anything? Just... just... ugh." Minjeong closed the distance between them, her eyes fixed on the cuts. She reached out and touched them. How could she act so nonchalantly with those wounds? Did she even care about her own safety?
"Does it not hurt at all? Do you not feel any pain? You're bleeding. You need to clean up those wounds and take care of yourself." Her voice was softer now, frustration mixing with worry and concern. There it was again... those damn feelings.
She took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. But the sight of those injuries, and the knowledge that Y/n had probably gotten them while out being spider girl, pushed at her patience. "You can't just barge in here and act like everything is fine. You're hurt, damn it. You're bleeding. Again."
"will you do anything." You uttered out, a weak voice of yours that she rarely heard. You lift your eyes a bit looking at her, those black tired eyes. Minjeong couldn't help but feel sympathy.
Minjeong's jaw clenched at Y/n's words. "Will you do anything?" Really? Did she even need to ask? Of course, she would do something. She cared about her, maybe a little too much.
"Yes. Yes, I will. I'll get the first aid kit. Just... stay here and don't move." She said firmly, her voice leaving no room for argument.
But before she could even move away from you, you grabbed her arm. Stopping her from leaving you.
Minjeong stopped in her tracks, her eyes locking onto the hand that was gripping her arm. The gesture was so typical of Y/n, always stopping her from doing things. It was irritating, but... Minjeong could see the exhaustion in Y/n's eyes, the weary look of someone who had seen too much and done to much. Despite the cuts and the tired look on her face, she couldn't help but notice the way her heart was pounding in her chest. She forced herself to look away, breaking the eye contact, trying to ignore the way her heart was fluttering uncontrollably. Focus.
"look at me, please." Still present with that weak voice of yours as yous said it, but filled with need. You needed her. You were weak.
Minjeong paused for a moment, her thoughts swirling in her mind. She knew she should maintain her composure and detachment, but there was something in Y/n's voice that made her heart ache. Reluctantly, she turned back to meet her gaze, her own emotions at war with herself.
She cleared her throat, breaking the silence. "Don't even think about saying no. I'm going to get the first aid kit and clean up those wounds, whether you like it or not. So don't try and stop me."
But minjeong could even move again you kissed her. Pushing her roughly making her back hit the door, making a loud sound. Her parents bound to hear it.
"Y/n..." She whispered, her voice filled with a mixture of frustration and desire. She tried to sound stern, but her voice wavered, betraying her conflicting feelings.
Her hand found itself grabbing onto her shoulder, her fingers gripping it tightly. Her body was conflicted, torn between pushing her away and pulling her closer. "We can't..." She said through gritted teeth, struggling to keep her resolve.
"why not? We've done it a million times, mj." Desire and need both in your voice and eyes, you needed her.. you always did.
She winced at the reminder. Y/n was right. They had done this a million times before. But she couldn't let her guard down, not now. "We broke up, Y/n. We agreed to be just friends. No benefits."
"you say that and yet you still let me in your room." You say back to her, I mean you do have a point.
"Damn it... that's... not the point-" Minjeong cursed herself mentally. She couldn't argue with that. Why did she keep letting Y/n in, knowing how this would end?
"the what is?" You dared her, your eyes filled with desire. You gripped onto her risk a bit more tighter, you needed her answer. She needed to prove what she meant, right?
"The point is that it's not healthy, or fair, to keep doing this... You know that as well as I do." Minjeong said, her voice wavering slightly. She wanted to keep her resolve, to stay strong and maintain her boundaries, but it was like fighting a losing battle against her own heart.
As the tension grew more between the two silence fell, then they were suddenly interrupted with a knock on the door. Minjeongs father.
"minjeong what was that sound? Are you okay?" Her father chimed as he continued knocking.
The sudden knock on the door startled Minjeong, causing her to freeze and look towards the door. "Damn it." She cursed softly under her breath. "I'm fine dad! Just... tripped! Nothing to worry about!" She managed to reply, trying to keep her voice calm and composed, despite her heart still racing
"am I nothing to worry about, hmm?" You lifted her chin, making her look up right at you. What was with Y/n tonight? What did she want.
Minjeong's breath hitched as Y/n lifted her chin, forcing her to meet her gaze. The intensity of her eyes made her heart flutter, and she cursed inwardly at the effect she had on her. She wanted to push her away, to maintain her resolve and keep her distance, but her body betrayed her, melting into her touch despite her better judgement.
Minjeong swallowed, trying to steady herself as her mind warred with her heart.
"You're always a pain in my ass" she said with an exasperated tone, trying to mask the trembling in her voice.
"mhmm" you hummed, as you leaned down nuzzling you'd head in her neck. Inhaling her scent.
Minjeong clenched her fists, her thoughts and emotions a maelstrom of desire and frustration. She wanted to give in, to let herself get lost in the moment, but her heart knew better.
"Damn you, Y/n." She whispered, her voice a mix of affection and irritation. But the words were merely a whisper, lacking any real conviction.
Those were her last words as things escalated that night, resulting with kurayami sleeping over at minjeong's house for the night. In the end, they still kept coming back to each other.
