PSA TUMBLR REPORT SCAM
Hello all! You may receive messages from Tumblr accounts letting you know that your account is reported and at risk of suspension.
This is what the message looks like
Once you engage with the affected account these are the evidences they share with you
If you message the account on discord its an automated service aka bot that sends canned responses
The goal is to get you to give out personal information such as birthdays email and location.
They will use tumblr password reset system to email you a password reset. The instructions are to use a password they provide you. Once you confirm the password change.
What they do is they will log in with your account change your email and take over your account.
RULE #1 NEVER GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION TO STRANGERS

FYI the password reset emails are legitimate sent from Tumblr.
However no one should ever tell you which password to pick and never give you your account details to anyone.
No established company will ever message you about your account emails or passwords. Tumblr also does not have multi factor authentication so it has a higher risk of someone taking over your account if you are not careful
