Aftercare? Think "Post-nut clarity."
I would be curious as to how many people have ever had that moment of post-nut clarity that takes over our minds and bodies after some form of sexual activity. Whether it be a solo act of watching porn, masturbating, or being in a sexual act with someone else.
Post-nut clarity is that moment of reflection post orgasm that may manifest itself like, "I can't believe I did that," "Wow! I'm such a filthy slut," "Do I feel OK about that," "I hope nobody ever finds out I just did that," "Did I just do that to another human." to name a few.
During a sexual act, there is sometimes that feeling of being "Sex drunk," where lust, feeling feral, sexual desire, and whatever endorphins are pumping around your body and mind which make you do some seriously rude things. After orgasm that feeling fades, and the clarity sets in. Regret, guilt, self-reflection, etc.
Being in the submissive state of mind makes my mind go blank. Almost like I am anaesthetised and have had a lobotomy from the real world. All that is in my mind is my boundaries, my safeword, and that overwhelming desire to be a good girl and to please.
Now, think that if post-nut clarity occurs after what could be called very "normal" sexual acts, imagine the feeling for a submissive after a sexual act while being submissive.
Imagine the mindset of being submissive during a sexual act, imagine what has been done to them and what they have done during the act, imagine what has been done to their mind during the act (degraded, called names, insulted etc.) Imagine what has been done to their body during the act (spanking, being bound, impact play etc.)
When you've had post-nut clarity, it would have been nice to have had a cuddle and to be told that it's fine, right? To be told that what happened is normal, it's healthy and that you are OK?
This is exactly what aftercare is. And it is SO IMPORTANT. Take a moment to enjoy what you've just experienced with a sub, but take longer to be there while your sub has a worse post-nut clarity that you've ever experienced.
Tell the sub that what happened is normal, it's healthy, and that they are OK. Listen to them, reassure them, and be there for them.
