The weather was warm, but Clear didnât seem to mind it at all, contently strolling about the city with his hands in his pockets. He was still unaccustomed to the sprawling labyrinth of buildings that was so different from Midorijima, but he was getting the hang of things, at least.
Still, he wasnât quite used to navigating it, and ended up lostâultimately stopping before a shrine. It felt more familiar to him than the other buildings, the aesthetic almost nostalgic to him, and he soon found himself seated as he hummed quietly to himself.
When the voice spoke up about his scarf, Clear promptly yelped in surprise, practically jumping a mile into the air before bowing.
ăâă âAhâ! S-sorry, sorry! I didnât mean to intrude!â
However, the other didnât seem angry, at least, which was good. After a brief moment, he addressed the manâs questions.
ăâă âIt is a little warm, but my scarf is still very comfy. It doesnât feel too hot to me. And I was only here for a few minutes, I thinkâŚI just needed to get my bearings.â
White tufts of fur perked up at the manâs exclamation. âThere is no need to apologize-- Anyone is welcome to come to this place.â Kogitsunemaru took a seat in the place that would have been next to Clear if he had not jumped up moments before.Â
âAaahh..?â
The tachi shook his head and motioned for the other to take a seat again. âCome now. You can sit for as long as you like.â It was about time he took a break anyway. Before this, heâd been tidying the area around the shrine. Sweeping away any debris came first.. And it was doing so that lead him to find the strange person at the shrineâs entrance.Â
âWhy stay for only a few minutes? Would you mind humoring an old fox with your company for awhile?â
âRather-- Kogistunemaru. You may call me that.âÂ
