Inuyasha has no papers in that time. And if people see a teenage boy or man to be honest with the time, skip walking around with long white hair, white ears red clothes from a completely different time. Barefoot with sharp teeth and claws at best they’re going to assume he’s some sort of cosplayer, some crazy conspiracy theorist is going to stalk him in a attempt to prove on how he’s some sort of monster or demon which he is or even worse the government catches wind of him, and he ends up in a lab. 

Not to mention, he’s not immunized so if he gets sick there, it’s gonna hit him even worse because he still have human and if they need to go to a doctor, they’re gonna have to figure it out on their own because if they go to an office and he has no idea that might be a problem. I’m not too sure about Japan’s laws, but it’s probably gonna be an issue

Not to mention, what job could he hold down there that isn’t include manual labor because I’ve heard people write him AU where he worked into an office and that’s just not gonna fly and again like I said, he has long white hair real dog years claws and doesn’t seem to like shoes. People are going to talk going to question him and it’s not gonna end well.

I’ll never forgive Sunrise for starting the Inuyasha is centuries old nonsense. They’ve so injected misinformation into the fandom that even Takahashi’s quotes are disregarded and overshadowed. And Takahashi probably wasn’t forceful about it in her 2020/2021 reply out of professionalism. And now this whole thing has taken root over 2 decades and the damage can’t be undone. And the fandom can’t be bothered to think critically about anything and blindly accepts it. And the way they confidently say this (and even lean into it for the ship that shall not be named). And even the fan wiki keeps pushing this lie.

People in this fandom are so attached to the idea that Inuyasha is centuries old and ages slowly that they'll try to argue that Rumiko Takahashi saying he "ages at the same pace as the story" supports the idea of him aging slowly... somehow. I really don't get it.

I mean, Inuyasha and Kagome are 15 in the canon series and they are both very inexperienced. Inuyasha had Kikyo but nothing happened with her while she was alive. They can both become more confident as they get older and as they get more comfortable with each other.

As for being forward / flirty, I would say there's some of examples of that in canon (if your definition of flirty aligns with mine).
