Rating: G Pairing: Inuyasha/Kagome Summary:  Nearly a year after the war's end, Kagome struggles with feeling... well, anything. Frustration in her own inability to move on from things she ought to have just gotten over by now finally boils over in a tense evening spent sheltering from the rain with her husband.

Excerpt:

The first wayward sparks didn’t catch the kindling, but sent a flash of orange light across his face, gone in an instant. “Why didn’t you say anything?” he asked tersely.  “About what?” Kagome asked.  “That you knew a storm was coming,” he said, striking the flint again and again, the first embers just beginning to take. He blew on them, coaxing them to life. “That you were in pain.”  Kagome scoffed miserably. “It wouldn’t have stopped either.” As the first fledgling flames began to grow, Inuyasha glowered at his wife. “Kagome-” “Please, can we just-” Kagome choked off, pressing the heels of her palms over her eyes. “Can we not do this now?”

It's that time of the term!

The voting period is now in session! You will need to sign into Google in order to vote, and you will be allowed one vote per category. Please note: we will be recording email addresses and media platform names to preserve the integrity of the voting process! The email addresses and votes will NOT be shared with anyone; it is simply to prevent voting anomalies. Please let us know if there are any issues!

At the end of the voting form, you will be asked three things:

1. Would you like to have a say in which Roulette categories will be featured next term? This is not required, but we wanted to further involve the community in how the awards are run.

2. Would you like to have a say in which Romance Roulette pairing they would like to see represented in the next term? As seen with the regular roulette categories, pairings represented will change each term based on participation.

3. If you are a fandom artist, would you like your work to be eligible in banner creations? This is new this term and something the mod-team would like to hear feedback on.

Remember, you will have until the end of the day February 20th to cast your votes, so don’t forget to finish up those fanfics and view all that fanart.
