i’ve said it before but i wish vaginas didn’t cost money

you literally can not have a vagina without paying for it. vaginoplasty for some, period products for others, if you want to stop buying period products that’s gonna be expensive medicine or an expensive procedure, recovery from surgery requires time off work and vaginoplasty specifically requires money spent on dilators. our bodies shouldnt cost us this much on baseline. having a vagina shouldnt have such a hefty tax on it. it makes me feel like i’m in a fictional dystopia written for middle school classrooms when i think about it.

Im begging people with periods to try using a menstrual cup. $30 every like two years. I messed up one pair of underwear one time and ever since then I've never had to use pads, panty liners, or tampons. Learning curve I got over real fast. And I have a heavy as fuck period and endometriosis. No serious risk of tss, and even more so it's very much less scary and confusing understanding my menstrual cycle because using, for example, a tampon I just could never tell what is going on. I use it so much when I basically have any fear im going to have any blood going on. It's obviously not the solution to what OP is saying! but I have to shill every time I can because people are so weird about menstrual cups when changing to one has actually bettered my life
