As for how I make plushie, I learned it from PiyoPicco ! she provides so many detailed step by step plushie tutorial videos to the point that i don't think i have to explain anything lol (but i will summarize it for you instead!) go check her videos out!
and if you are very serious about this, i recommend getting her Book as well! (there is E-book version), this one is specifically for Beginner (i used this a lot while making Madeline and Badeline plushies)
PS. it's all in japanese but translation app translates it well enough for me to successfully make my own plushies!

by the way, I recommend practice with this naked bald baby like this first before you start sewing your fav for real!!!
And here are Free Body Patterns by MiNiηε (they have 10, 15 and 20 cm plushie pattern that you can print on A4 and use it right away, thank you MiNiηε !) I practiced with this pattern first too, using PiyoPicco's videos as a guide(i think she used this pattern in some of her videos)
As for my plushies, here are some fun behind-the-scene pics!
My rough draft, mostly just decide the design and colors
Clean face design that will be used for when i embroider it on the fabric
(tip: there are many ways to make the plushie's face not just embroidery, some may use buttons, sew felt fabric on it, etc, pick what you prefer!)

I use "Minky fabric", a very soft fabric that you will definitely see being used in a lot of plushie these days (it has many fur's length you can choose)

Complete! you may notice her chin is wrinkled a bit, this is because i didn't adjust the stuffing around that area well enough (and probably sewed it not as neatly as it should be), make sure you do it well (i fixed this later)
but wait!
I make clothes for them too! using hoodie pattern by γ«γΌγ³ (but change it a bit to look like the cloth they actually wear)
and their pants using socks following this PiyoPicco's video
and ALL DONE!!!!!πππ
