I say we give Easthies the standard trauma treatment for this series: a daughter. And I don't mean an apprentice I mean an actual fully blood related daughter that he didn't know existed until recently and now WANTS to actively take part in raising. Why? Cause my dude has a very strong sense of responsibility and also cause I see him as the type to just not like kids unless they're his. Also cause having a child you actively want to contribute to, someone with an identity and a self that is theirs is a big intense thing and would serve as a bit of a focal point for why Easthies would want to improve.
Especially interesting if you factor in the baby mama situation: is she alive or dead? Was it a one night stand or a relationship that ended? Is part of the reason Easthies is such a mess is cause he never got over her? Is the reason she didn't tell him they had a child because she was genuinely aware of the damage the system was doing and knew that Easthies wouldn't be able to slow down and consider the facts before erasing them?
Just angst galore. Also Easthies having another breakdown cause tf do you mean he has to sacrifice his baby's (she's 14) well being for the same system that broke him and every other knights moralis? It's not even a question of the pact anymore it's a question of your methods sucking ass and him waking up to it
Anon I want you to know I love this and gonna file this away for a fic. I honestly think that apprentices are essentially children of the mentor in this sense and I'm not sure if Loroga would fix him but I think he would get into healthier habits and find himself taking more care in what he enjoys and what's best for his apprentice/child. Easthies would absolutely be a girl dad though this is no debate.
I can't truly see him as the sexually frustrated type to do one night stands but this is also current Easthies who is too lethargic to get his damn blanket off the ground like a toddler. At the child's oldest they would be 16 if the child was born when he was 19. I think it'd be interesting to contemplate an Easthies with someone he wanted to be with but got messed up in terms of magic and the pact. Perhaps they were an unknowing and his fear stems from this deep loss.
All I can really think of is you— the reader— an unknowing meeting this boy in your youth that, while clearly privileged and secretive, is intelligent and sweet and comforting. His soft eyes and introverted demeanor unintentionally trap you as you begin to sneak around people to be together. Kissing behind pillars and holding hands under tables until it all builds up and suddenly Easthies is gone with a warning from an older woman with a witch hat alongside a little child on the way that only you know and plan to keep hidden. Easthies, years later, meeting a kid with his eyes and face but not his hair or demeanor. Someone closer in demeanor to godforsaken Qifrey than him Oohoohoho
Screaming crying cause the translation of chapter 97 ain't available in my corner of the world yet 😭
If you could share where you got it I would be eternally grateful
There was an account I was following on Twitter that did a fan translation but I'm trying to find them and it looks like they got taken down 😭 I am so sorry anon!!! It is so wonderfully done and Easthies is a whole new level of attractive aughhhhh
Honestly yeah Easthies is fixable because he just as one major flaw and that is jumping the gun way too fucking quickly. Like sir you were gonna basically execute two twelve year olds for just existing near the crime scene 😭 calm tf down, investigate PROPERLY (witness testimonies, crime scene analysis, leftover suspicious objects, severity of the situation, context, etc), and THEN you make your judgement. Basically just turn into a male black cat version of Vinnana and he'd be gold
He doesn't even have to like Coco or ANY of them really, he just has to do his job properly and it's frustrating because we know he can but his trauma is making him react like a cat who turned to find a cucumber next to him
anon opened the box of Pandora DO I HAVE THOUGHTS ON VINANNA AND EASTHIES
I'm not sure if you have seen the most recent chapter for witch hat but there is a good moment of characterization that ties in not only to Easthies but puts a lot of Vinanna's actions into suspicion. The KM are definitely a flawed and corrupt organization, but the way Easthies and Vinanna handle it give the impression there is something worse waiting should they bend the pact. Also the way Vinanna treats Easthies very much feels like a dysfunctional mother/son dynamic which. So interesting to think about ohoohohooo Easthies is the wettest, saddest black cat I have ever seen and one of his biggest gripes as a character is his adherence to a justice system that is not only flawed but purposefully attacks both the offender and the victim. There is something under the surface and Vinanna's treatment of Easthies because of the pact has definitely contributed to it. SCREAMING

Hc that when Easthies actually gets comfortable in a relationship, his entire atitude is just "Yes. And?"
Yes, he's going to remember what you say and go out of his way to research what you like to keep talking about it. Yes, he's going to make an effort to actually take care of himself because it worries you. Yes, he's going to get trinkets and other stuff that he thinks you might like. Yes, he'll do your hair in the morning and help you cook. Yes, he'll get hobbies for both his own well being and also to get to do them with you. Yes, he refuses to go to bed until you do. Yes, everyone except you and Utowin can fuck all the way off. Is there an issue? No? Then shut up and accept this akward man's love
This is such a perfect opinion anon. Easthies is somehow the only character I've encountered that really does feel like "I CAN FIX HIM!!"
His affection, and in tandem his energy, almost gets entirely dedicated to one person. I think there is a big push and pull in his mind of prioritizing his partner compared to following codes and dedicating himself to the pact. His affection and love is a double edged sword in that he will obsess and attach himself to you in a manner that can only truly be described as melting, or he can just lay there like a dead bug as he watches you move about.
Easthies is utterly marred by whatever trauma and issues he went through in regards to the pact, and the fear has inspired him enough to prioritize it even at the cost of his own happiness. Please quit your job and become a househusband, it is your destiny. Written in the stars, actually. One day he will put down his pennant for the last time and finally be relieved of the duties of his predecessors, and with such he shall find himself in your arms and holding you as though he alone can stop mountains that dare to tremble in your wake.
Honestly wether or not you want to take this as a request I leave to you but I just wanted someone to share my headcanons for Easthies in a relationship:
when it comes to romance I think Easthies just a quiet awkward dude who I see comfortable in a yapper x listener dynamic. Give him a lover who is a scholar not just in magic but in regular human sciences aka shit most witches never bother with and watch him get mesmerised by A) the amount of interesting stuff you know that he didn't B) the look of pure joy on your face as you talk about stuff you love C) the sound of your voice. This man won't talk much but he's got no issue with followup questions and statements and he loves it because it means you keep yapping.
Gonna add in that he's also the type of dude where the favoritism is crystal clear. If it were anybody else yapping about shit he does not care and would just walk away. But no its his crush thats yapping and he treats everything coming out of their mouth like its a gift from the gods to his ears.
From what we know about Easthies, dude is a workaholic to the point he has zero shit going on outside of Knights Moralis shit. Give him a lover who makes him WANT to do stuff. He wants to learn more so he can contribute back in your conversations, he wants to experience different cuisines so he can find what you like, he wants to actually genuinely explore the world because he wants something to share with you. Dude is not the best mentally, but I feel like giving him a lover makes him want to actually start LIVING rather than just surviving and that would do wonders for his mental health weather he realizes it or not.
YES EXACTLY. Easthies is characterized so fully by his fear that turns his actions into lethargy and stillness. His ideal type would be someone who is unique and passionate. Having a skill or a trade that is not commonly come across, but still passionate and in love with it nonetheless. Something like that could absolutely rewire his behavior I think. Adding on to this idea, I do think that he would not only listen to these talks but also try and learn what they do themselves. Making sure to leave out sewing needles if there are a seamstress or ensuring none of their clothes have holes if they do welding. He is a big yearner in my head and so because of this I truly believe that Easthies would disregard most people in responsibilities for this crush. I'd be too scared to go against Vinanna, but the idea that his obsession towards this attraction and person through this hobby subsequently makes him a little bad at his job would be very funny.
Easthies the type to listen for 3 hours regarding your special interest and hobby only to turn around and tell the twins to shut up because they tried giving him a report.
I actually have this fic that I've been meaning to write but I haven't found the time where he encounters an unknowing seamstress who, because of their connection with Coco, are placed under supervision by the Knights Moralis. This is how they grow close until eventually, and perhaps by Vinanna specifically, have their memories taken and giving back as a normal seamstress as Easthies still tries to pursue whatever they had. Aughhhhh I love your headcanons anon
Hashida x gn! reader (during their employment era)
Summers change as you grow older. When you are a kid the heat feels like little more than prickles against your skin; sunburn feeling more like kisses from the day to hold close to you at night. As you grew older, summers felt more weighed down. Less bright and colorful and more monochrome. Though, you've heard your friends speak of the change as a normal occurrence as you no longer have a summer break unlike your youthful counterparts.
It's not like the idea changes much for you. It's just, instead of being the kid that would finger paint and push their face against the heat of the window inside the chilly, air conditioned room, you were now the adult that supplied the paints and would pry the kids off the window so as to not burn themselves.
It was your full-time job, working at this school. You enjoyed making the kids laugh with badly timed jokes and having them dress you up in dinosaur costumes. Get purposefully awkward and embarrassed when they would ask if you had any girls you fancied so they would laugh. It was simple happiness, yet it was happiness.
This summer, however, two new recruits joined. Part timers you were unlikely to see next year or even in a couple months. You never really took mind in who each of them were. It was already enough for you to memorize all the kids favorite colors and songs as well as deal with their parents.
There were two. One was a fair haired boy, though it looked bleached, with yellow eyes that reminded you to that of a cat. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and had a wry smile to him. He looks well meaning and constantly shifted on his feet but you couldn't help but stare at the bruises against his knuckles and the very familiar smell of smoke against his clothes. His name was Yatora Yaguchi.
The taller of the two was the one who drew your attention the most. He had a pleasant smile on his face, his hands deep in his trenchcoat despite the weather. He covered much of his skin, unlike his counterpart who wore a simple linen shirt that he rolled up to his elbows. He held his head high and had impeccable posture that you almost considered him posh. He had long hair plaited into braids and while his long hair would usually indicate to you that he was on the more feminine side of things, he seemed to not care for this and simply took his androgyny in stride. His voice was deep and smooth unlike Yatora's awkward and stammering one. You chose to ignore the fact that his eyes didn't match his expression. Hashida Haruka was his name and you'd say it fit him very well.
Your boss, Ms. Saeki, apparently had a history as Yatora's teacher and recommended him. You couldn't exactly see what he brought to the table as an elementary school teacher but you weren't one to protest against others. On the other hand she had no knowledge of Hashida and by the way he carried himself, was rightfully wary of him.
You remember Meguro whispering to you as Ms. Saeki toured them around that they gave her the creeps. Both of them. You couldn't understand her grips with the two and so simply brushed her off, but you would be lying if you didn't hold your own suspicions of them. Perhaps it was because they were men? But you didn't exactly see the issue with that.
You're aware that others find it weird to hold suspicions for outsiders in such a 'cute' field as education, but you were stubborn in your views. Children are people but many educators never seemed to realize that, or perhaps never took them as kids to begin with. Even at 20 your stubbornness has never wavered. Though, this protectiveness may likely stem from the fact you have your own little sister to take care of at home, but you don't dwell on it.
Ms. Saeki clears her throat, firmly wedging you from your thoughts, "Yes?"
"Any thoughts?" She raises her eyebrows. She was a beautiful woman well into her age. Her elegance somehow seeping through with everything she did; you admired her a lot for it. She had a natural penchant with kids you worked to get and was able to intimidate others simply by a stare.
She was likely referring to your new co-workers, "They could have a bit more experience on their belt but it's alright," you shook your head at her.
She chuckled into her palm as she raised her eyebrow at you. Another question.
"Then if I asked you to show them the ropes you would?"
She always had a way at purposefully getting under your skin and it was a skill you both admired her for and resented her for, "I don't think we'd have to go that far."
"It wouldn't hurt and I think you'll make them more comfortable as one of the few men here," She tilted her head at you. Her face painted with an odd nostalgia.
You hastily nod, adding a 'sure' a beat after you realized she was waiting for a verbal response.
She clapped her hands together as she grinned at you; a glint playing in her eyes. You never quite understood her after all these years. She was first your high school teacher and then you began working with her once you graduated. You never quite had the opportunity to attempt to go pro with art, but you were perfectly content drawing with kids and having them customize your clothes with their designs of paint, pencil and charcoal. When they realized you would proudly wear out their fingerprints on your overalls or their smiley faces on your shirts they began to do it often and with happy grins and giggles around the room. You could never quite connect with people your age or older the way you would with children.
What would Miki like for dinner tonight? She always enjoyed chicken nuggets but recently has found a kick with pancakes. You could buy some Eggos at the store, perhaps?
Ms. Saeki leads you to the two men sitting awkwardly in small school chairs as they converse with the kids. One much more successful than the other.
Yatora seems to have caught the attention of Shouya and while at first glance one would be worried the teacher was being bullied by the student, Shouya always had an odd way of showing affection. The fact alone he was participating instead of ignoring everything in replace of studying or trying to escape made your heart swell a little. Perhaps you judged Yatora too quickly and too harshly. Though, only Shouya seemed to be interested in the man. Meanwhile, Hashida seems to have become a celebrity overnight with the kids. They surround him as he balances on the small red chair that could barely fit a child as he uses the crayons the kids give him to draw them what they asked. As you walk over to look at the drawing you recognize it to be the dinosaur costume you had worn maybe a week ago.
"I see you've all made a new friend?" You ask as Sae screams and laughs as she goes over to hug you. She hastily nods, mentioning how the story of the dinosaur must live on as you nod, telling her that the dinosaur must live forever.
You turn to look at Hashida, almost freezing in place as you realize he has turned his eyes to you. You're not quite sure how long but his hands continue to move as he looks at you. You find it a bit unnerving.
However, he doesn't utter a word to you, simply nodding as his attention is turned to a kid who mentions the red stripes the dinosaur had. You laugh as you release Sae who goes over to analyze the drawing for it to be as accurate as possible.
Deciding that Hashida is being included just fine, you turn your attention to Yatora who is attempting to escape death by drowning as Shouya attempts to dunk his head into the watercolors.
"Shouya it's good to ask before touching someone," You chide as he looks up at you before asking Yatora if he can dunk his head.
Yatora is hasty in replying no and Shouya, frowning, let's go of the older boy's head.
"That was very kind of you, Shouya," you nod, going on your knees so you can get to his eye level, "Would you like to pick some candy from the reward box?"
He yells an exuberant yes as you get up and lead him to Ms. Saeki's desk as you open one of her drawers to bring out the large bowl of candy. It was a good behavior checker and they also got rewarded with candy. It was easily the biggest thing you spent your money on to constantly keep filled. You can feel Ms. Saeki's judgemental eyes pierce through your skull as Shouya picks a mystery lollipop.
Ms. Saeki believed that rewarding behavior that wasn't genuine would simply lead to more bad behavior, but every child is different and eventually she seemed to understand this with Shouya. Though you understand that him constantly getting candy for simply doing the bare minimum would eventually come to bite you, but he was still young and you equally favored all the kids, and they all knew this.
"It's lemon!" He exclaims.
You give him a quick applause as he puckers his lips.
You kind of wish you knew how to deal with kids more, but teaching a kid doesn't have a manual and every single one is different. You can only sigh at the cards you've been given.
Turning back to Yatora and Hashida, Yatora seems to be scratching his head where Shouya was holding it as Hashida continues to draw, numerous kids looking over his shoulder or giving him more crayons to use. The sight itself was enough to put a small smile on your face.
Turning to Ms. Saeki, she looks amused and it takes you a moment to register why before you groan and stuff your head into your hands. It wasn't a big thing to be honest, liking men. It was simply a preference, like anything else.
Though, Ms. Saeki seems almost hell bent on playing matchmaker every chance she can get and you're not sure anymore if you should tell her to stop or just give up and see where she takes you. You understand it comes from a place of care, just sometimes you truly wonder where she got the idea.
---
It is two weeks into these newcomers positions that you realize you may have deeply discounted them. Their abilities and capabilities for the children's and responsibilities for the school were perfectly met even though both you and Ms. Saeki were well aware of their hectic schedules.
It is during one of these cleanups after school once the last of the children have gone home you find yourself alone with Hashida and Yatora.
The blonde haired boy was quite talkative bringing out a more cheerful and sneaky Hashida in exchange with jokes and references you couldn't entirely keep up with as you scrubbed away the paint stains and fixed up the markers.
Cleaning the whiteboard found yourself right next to Hashida who, very apparent in his staring problem, had stopped all activities to look at you. His eyes spoke of something but you couldn't tell what. The shivers down your back only intensified when you went to stare him down and he didn't back down.
"Hey, what's been up with you? You're not usually so quiet, Hashida-san," Yatora, ever defeating the stereotypes of the rebellious bleach blonde said, his tone almost demure in the way it was spoken.
Hashida, in reaction simply chuckled, his eyes finally averting to the floor, "My apologies. I just..."
"You don't need to mince words around me, the kids aren't here anymore."
At this he chuckles a bit louder, his voice sending echoes into your chest that you'd rather not focus on.
"Your looks. They are quite alluring."
...
What?
Your face flushes as it heats up and you drop the washcloth to cover your face, "Oh hell."
You can hear the smile in his voice when he says, "What? Not used to my artistic perspective?"
Yatora seems frozen in place as you slowly pry your fingers from your face, very much wanting to scream and kick your feet in a very much not mature manner.
It was no doubt that he was attractive. It would be a crime to say he wasn't. What didn't make it fair was his habit of teasing you when children weren't looking as though it was some joke. Perhaps he noticed your staring back at him or maybe Ms. Saeki snitched and told him you were fascinated by him first.
"You are just..." You grumble, flexing your hands, "I find it humorous but don't do it often."
At this his smile wavers before being plastered in something that is more teeth than smile, "I'm hurt you find my opinion humorous but not everybody can see what I can see, can't I?"
Your eye twitches, "I'm not up for this conversation and I don't appreciate my looks being on the end of whatever this is."
At this he fully frowns, going to say something but—
"Oh shoot Sae forgot her notebook!" Yatora helps, holding up the pink and bedazzled book.
You smile, nodding, "I'll bring it to the office and call the parents," quickly grabbing it as you all but shove your cleaning supplies back in the bucket and speed walk, Hashida's eyes piercing your back.
What a first impression.
---
It is during the end of their stay at the summer camp as you wrap up that you realize why you've been on eggshells. Not in a negative manner, much less a disgusted one, but rather and discomfort over how wound up he gets you. How his eyes can't help but be drawn to you.
"I don't think I'll ever teach," He groans, head sinking onto the little drawing table.
"It's certainly not for everyone," You shrug, opening your soda as you take a nice long drink, "Good to know you lasted even after that fiasco with little Sae though."
He sighs, lifting his head to stare at you.
"I don't think it was fair."
"You don't have to think it was fair, but unfortunately you can't help everyone if the parents are deeply against something."
"They shouldn't."
You smile softly, "If there were more people like you I'm sure there would be a better place for that kind of thinking."
At this he goes quiet, staring at you with an unmoving expression.
"Hashi—"
"Let's go out for coffee," He grins, "Unless you're too afraid to be seen with me?"
He places a hand to his head, leaning back as he sighs dramatically, "I can't believe you would even accept my kind in these hallowed halls."
"That's enough but now you're paying for me because of your dramatics," you roll your eyes, cracking a small smile that seems to make him light up into a grin.
You'd think after almost 3 months of non-stop contact communication you would understand him better, but yet you still struggle even reading his expressions. His face oddly unmoving, his actions mysterious and unexplained. Except to Yatora, Yatora always somehow understood in a way that sometimes frustrated you for...
For what?
Nevermind, coffee does sound very good.
"there's a good place down the block?"
"oh I'm aware," he chuckles, moving closer to you as he gets up, wiping his hands of the last remnants of melted crayon, "I've been there on recommendation by Ms. Saeki."
You raise an eyebrow, "So I guess you do listen to some people."
He cackles, moving to grab your waist as he pushes you both towards the exit, the small touch enough to set your nerves alight.
"Ready?"
All you can do is get out a hum. Your trust for your voice to not be a squeal low, if at all.
---
Hashida had called out to you as you walked out of the building, his hand waving through the cold air as he caught up to your pace. His hair was in his two familiar plaits, which were hidden by his scarf and trenchcoat.
"Shouldn't you be in class right about now?" You raised an eyebrow, tucking your hands into your coat pockets.
"I only need to attend one or two classes for attendance to count, don't worry yourself sick about it," He laughed as his shoulder brushed your own. He had a deep hearty laugh that made your head slightly spin.
"Then may I ask how you found me?"
He tilts his head to the side, softly scoffing, "You've been working at this school for who knows how long? I could recite your weekly schedule if you'd like me to."
You grimace, turning away from his gaze as you cough into your hand, "And here I thought I could escape you."
Here he laughs, his laughter echoing through the quiet that settles in winter. The sun has already gone down, so the only thing really keeping both of you visible is the lamps that you two pass every so often. It paints his face in yellows and soft golds as you turn to meet his gaze. He had an odd habit of staring.
"I think you're a bit too interesting for me to ignore," He said, his voice unrecognizable in tone. Somehow, you got impossibly colder.
"Besides," his voice brightens up, leaving you reeling, "How did you know I have class today?" He grins at you as you roll your eyes.
"Do you not remember telling me your schedule? You didn't allow me to leave that coffee shop until you decided I knew enough."
You click your tongue as you finally begin turning towards the parking lot, your car finally in sight. It was a quaint thing you got a little after summer. It's decently beat up and you have to replace the tires when you got it but it works.
His mouths make an "o" as he blinks at you owlishly. Then, suddenly, he breaks out in boisterous laughter. His grin splitting his face cleanly in half.
You dig out your keys in your trenchcoat as you unlock your car and turn it on, before turning to Hashida, "Do you want a ride?"
His laughter stops. He stares at you for a moment longer than you'd like to recall, before smiling— not grinning— and gingerly getting into the car.
You don't think you've seen him so awkward, "Do you live on campus? Or do you have a place of residence?" You ask, pulling up the GPS.
Silently, he grabs your hand and softly pushes it away, before typing in the address. Place of residence, you suppose. It's certainly not the school.
You nod, a little uncomfortable at the sudden silence before you jump as he rests his hand against yours on the armrest.
His hands are surprisingly warm despite the cold temperatures outside. His fingers are relatively long but they aren't exactly delicate or fragile like one would take an art student. After all, if an art student loses their hands they'd lose a lot of options, wouldn't they?
You stay there for a long moment, holding your breath. His hands are simply brushing over yours, his hold on your hand barely there, if there at all. This might be a trick of the imagination.
Turning to look at him, you find yourself once more staring into his eyes. He definitely has a habit of staring, doesn't he?
There is a strange heat in his eyes. You cannot quite place it and you briefly wonder if he's somehow judging you, though he isn't exactly the judging type. All the same, however, his eyes are picking you apart, like they see something only he can see. Something that is entirely invisible to everybody else.
You clear your throat, turning away as he practically jumps away and into the window. You can only stare with your jaw a little open as he makes a feeble attempt at rubbing his head from where he bumped it.
"I'm gonna be driving now, say now if you want me to drive you or sign off on your will," You buckle yourself as you begin pulling out of the parking lot.
He is quick to buckle himself as he makes a weak chuckle, a strain in his voice. It makes you frown a little. You don't think you've ever seen him so vulnerable.
You pull out as you make it out of the parking lot and into the bustling roads and twinkling city lights, all the while Hashida seems as still a statue.
"Are you alright?"
"Worried for me, are we?"
"God, forget I asked then," you roll your eyes, your phone softly reminding you to turn right on the light as you continue moving forward to your destination.
It's a tranquil silence, though you can feel his eyes on you.
"is there a reason you insist on antagonizing me, Hashida?"
You catch his eyes in your front mirror as he licks his lips and looks to his hands, "I'm not trying to antagonize you I'm just... Trying to figure something out."
"And that has to do with me?"
"Yes, clearly," he says with a little snark, "Or maybe I'm just looking for my lost treasure and you have it?" He drawls, waving his hand around dramatically.
You make a little argh sound, making him crack a smile as you pull into his apartment.
"Do you need me to drive you closer or is this close enough?" You place yourself in park as you turn to look at him, his eyes wide and his mouth slightly agape as he looks at you.
"You're doing it again, Hashida."
He visibly gulps, his eyes darting around you as he licks his lips, shamefully bringing your eyes to his lips. A soft pink that contrasts his otherwise monochrome palate.
"I just—"
He shuts his mouth, "Actually, would you like to see the current project I'm working on?"
You blink, "I'll never turn down free art."
You are quick to shuffle out of the car and lock it as you two make it to the elevator, his hand ghosting your waist as you both wait for it to go up and up.
Shivers go down your spine every time he moves and his hand brushes the side of your waist, his hand hovering barely an inch over you. You elect not to comment on it in part that you don't want it to stop.
Finally the elevator chirps, the doors opening as he leads you to his door and unlocks it.
It's messier than you'd think of someone like him, the warm yellow lights casting a soft glow on the eclectic carpets and furniture he has clearly cultivated over who knows how long.
You slowly take off your coat, putting it next to his on the rack as you take off your shoes and step inside, Hashida quick to scramble to get you slippers as you are all but carried inside.
"Sorry for the mess, I wasn't planning on having visitors," he says, grabbing fashion magazines as hurriedly shoving them in an already overstuffed bookshelf.
"it's really nice actually," you shrug, your sweater feeling hotter and more scratchy the more you look at him in just his turtleneck and slacks.
He seems frozen for a moment, looking towards his room before he makes his trek in his room, the shuffling clearly of a canvas.
He slowly waddles out, sure to not show you the canvas just yet as he sets the rather large piece down.
"It's not finished."
You shake your head, settling down on his couch, "I don't care."
He seems to look for a tad too long at you making yourself comfortable on his couch, his eyes lowering and fluttering at you in a way that positively makes you squirm underneath his stare before he turns his attention back to the canvas and quickly flips it over.
It's certainly passionate. It takes you a moment to register the form in the painting being surrounded by the bright pops of color and light. The figure is half cloaked in sunlight with closed eyes but that hair is most definitely yours. Your face shape and clothes too. You can't remember the last time you wore your summer apparel but seeing that flowy shirt of yours is certainly a positive treat.
You smile at the canvas before redirecting your gaze to him, his eyes on you the entire time.
"it's lovely"
At this he breathes in sharply, setting down the canvas and turning away towards the window in his living room.
Your eyebrows scrunch, a slight frown to your face, "Hashida?"
You step closer to him, grazing your fingers against his shoulders.
At this, he turns around sharply as though burned but—
Oh.
His hands are cupping your face, his lips against yours as he squeezes his eyes shut with his face flushed a bright red.
It doesn't even take you a second to melt into him as your hands go up to his shoulders, one playing with his braids.
It seems this is enough motivation for him to let out a pleased groan as though this has been haunting him as he briefly breaks the kiss to shuffle you to the couch as back of your knee hits the sofa and you fall back.
His hair cascades over you as he cages you in his arms and leans back down to kiss you, his lips just as soft as you have imagined them. Your hands thread together behind his head as he uses his spare hand not holding himself up to hold your back, leaving you in an arch.
"Hashida?" You mumble against his lips as he hums.
"It's beautiful."
"I'm glad you can finally see it," he whispers back, his voice wrapping around you as he goes close once more.
There is something exceptionally unique in how avoidant Qifrey and Easthies are compared to Utowin, Olruggio, and Luluci.
Qifrey, in all his charm and grandeur he presents to his family of apprentices and friends, shudders and flinches at your touch. Who moves away from you when you shuffle next to him and recoils as though you've wounded him when you go to touch him. Do not take this for fear or disgust, however, as he seems to be a glutton for suffering. He will recoil but just as quickly chase your affection. Your quickly withdrawing is one he will jump at to grab and hold, your shocked expression smoothed over with a hand to the cheek or a forehead touch.
Olruggio, on the other hand leans into touch. Completely melts onto you should you fiddle with his clothes or tassel; finding ways to lean along your shoulders and dip his head in the curve of your neck to simply breathe you in. He tries his best to act unaffected and uncaring, but the moment you are out of his sight he can't help but fiddle and flutter about with utter worry; laying upon his pillows and hammock and dreaming of you, you, and you. He is, and perhaps always should be known as not Olruggio of the Torch, but the bearded puppy in the way he tails you like a duckling.
Luluci is perhaps a special case in that her affection, though hard earned, is perhaps the calmest of these bunch. A soft squeeze of the shoulder when passing by or smile when you happen to make eye contact. This affection and care is not in the absence or excess of affection, but rather a completely different form altogether formed through loyalty and trust. Her affection is certainly hard earned, but her reliance on your presence is one most needed.
Utowin, on the other hand, can only ever be described as a nuisance. His affection is one not commonly sought after, but when it is obtained and mutual he can flip from arrogant man child to loyal caretaker. His care is not in his untruthful words and fake bravado but rather the meals he keeps warm when you arrive home despite his schedule. Random gifts and treats left in your bags and pockets when you aren't looking soon become a commonality with this man but never approach him about it or else he'll fluster and blunder.
Easthies. His love is one hard earned and never truly followed through. His fear and subsequent depression regarding his actions and reality make him lethargic, moody, and avoidant. His love, or perhaps rather yearning is characterized in his hidden but intense stares and his random appearances and acts of oddly goodwill towards you. Perhaps his dreams— or perhaps nightmares— will cease as soon as you leave his underwater city of El Dorado. Or perhaps not, his mind can't seem to ever stop coming back to you no matter how far you are.

Angel's predicament has always been this: he wants to touch you, he wants to feel you, he wants to be closer to you. But he can't, for obvious reasons.
It tends to keep him up at night. Angel curls up under his bed sheets, pure white wings fanned out, pumping his cock while he thinks about you. After many restless evenings, he came to the conclusion that he would do anything for one chance with you, regardless of the circumstances.
So, if Angel can't fuck you himself, watching Aki fuck you is the next best thing. Fortunately for Angel, Aki really likes having an audience.
Angel sighs, leaning back further in his chair, admiring the view. His pants are pooled at his ankles, his face is flushed pink, and his hand is wrapped around his cock, stroking up the length slowly with an open grip. He spreads his legs a bit more and then quietly chokes out, "Aki… How does it feel?"
Aki has you caged in under him, his hands gripping your hips tightly. He swallows before he speaks, his voice shaky, to the point where he sounds like he's high, "Really f-fucking good," He stutters, "She's soooo good."
Aki has you positioned perfectly so that Angel can see everything, including the way Aki's thick cock presses inside you. The shaft is slick and glistening when he pulls out, echoing a wet sound when he shoves it back in deep, his cockhead nudging at your cervix.
"Tell me more," Angel twists his hand and squeezes, breathing harshly at the sensation.
Aki obliges, "It's really warm, really fucking tight," He breaks into a whine when he shoves back in again, his words starting to slur, the pleasure downright overwhelming, "Squeezing my dick so much… Every time I pull out, feels like it's sucking me back in."
Angel moans loudly at that.
Aki is still in his work clothes, his hair loose. His suit jacket is falling down his shoulders, but still manages to cling to his arms. His tie is loosened, his slacks are pulled down to his thighs, his shirt is unbuttoned at the top. Same with Angel; the devil's pants are pulled down, but his dress shirt and jacket are still on neatly. It's a stark contrast to you, stripped completely naked, your body exposed to both men.
The way they're watching you is so intense — It makes you feel dizzy, like you're not sure who you should focus on. Aki, who's tall frame is positioned over you, his hair long and messy, his cheeks flushed red. Or Angel, who's observing your every move intently, taking in every detail of the scene, his wings gently fluttering.
"Shit," Aki groans, and he dips his head over your shoulder. You wrap your arms around him, fingers tangled in his soft hair as he whispers in your ear, just quiet enough for only you to hear, "You're so damn wet, baby. You getting off to this? You like when someone else watches me fuck you?"
All you can manage in response is a nod as Aki's teeth connect with your neck, nipping little hurried love bites into the skin there. You tilt your head to give Aki better access, and when you do, you catch eyes with Angel for the first time in a while.
Angel's lips are parted, and strands of his cherry red hair stick to his forehead from sweat. He's jerking himself off steadily, his gaze flickering between you and Aki. His cock is pale and pretty, the sensitive tip leaking with precum, coating his palm each time he pumps it. He looks so disheveled, so needy. A total mess, just from watching you get fucked. The look in your eyes when you turn to him — pupils blown, desperate — is enough to make Angel's dick throb hard in his hand.
Aki places delicate kisses up your jaw, over the shell of your ear, and his breath is hot on your skin when he mutters, "You're doing so well. Can you get a bit louder? Let Angel hear you, sweetheart."
Aki's voice is soft and sweet, his lips are tender, but the way he fucks into you is relentless. He shoves himself in with deep, hard thrusts, focused on giving Angel the best show possible, on showing him just how well you can take his cock. Aki caresses your thighs with his palms, lightly squeezing, and he presses his lips to your cheeks, then your forehead — Faint kisses that contrast perfectly with his brutal pace, sending tingles up your spine.
You manage to stutter, "Feels amazing, Aki, d-don't stop-"
"Oh my God…" Angel tosses his head back as he jerks himself with more fervor, feeling himself getting closer, his dick getting harder when he hears your sweet voice.
"Angel," Aki says, and it quickly draws the devil's attention back. Angel opens one of his eyes, and Aki continues, "Tell her what you wanna do to her."
"I wanna, fuck," It's difficult for Angel to get the words out. He's so close already, his wings twitching, his dick aching in his palm. He has to slow the pace of his hand to keep himself from cumming, taking in a deep breath to calm himself down further. "I wanna touch her. Really bad."
Aki replies, "Yeah? Where? Here?" His large hands move to cup your breasts, pinching and twisting at the nipple.
"Yeah, y-yeah, shit, Aki. You're fucking her so good." Now that he's got himself started, Angel can hardly hold back from babbling everything that comes to his mind. Watching the way Aki fucks into you, his hands gripping your thighs to spread you open, his cock stretching you out, his balls hitting your ass; it's so filthy, but so fucking addicting.
It's addicting for Angel to close his eyes and focus on the sounds: your whines and Aki's quiet groans, the echo of skin slapping against skin, and the disgustingly wet squelch each time Aki thrusts in — It's intoxicating for Angel to imagine that he's somewhere in between. Before he even realizes what he's saying, Angel admits, "Want her to suck me off."
A little smirk falls on Aki's face. God, he knows he shouldn't get turned on by that, but something about imagining fucking you senseless while you're choking on Angel's dick, struggling to take the two of them at once, has him feeling lightheaded.
And Angel knows he shouldn't get so worked up just by watching this, feeling himself pushed further and further to the edge by the way you chant another man's name, Aki's name. He's watching his co-worker fuck you, he's gonna have to go to work tomorrow and see you and him and know that he watched the two of you fuck each other stupid.
Aki grabs your face by your cheeks, his tone sultry when he mumbles, "Bet you'd look so pretty baby, sucking off Angel. You want to, don't you? Admit it."
You nod your head, babbling, "Uh-huh, wanna make you feel good, Angel-"
Angel feels his heart skip a beat in his chest when you address him directly, his breath hitching, but you're cut off when Aki commands, "Stick out your tongue."
Aki presses his thumb to your lips, and when you open your mouth, sticking your tongue out as you were told, he bullies his thumb into your mouth until you suck on it obediently.
"Ohhhh God, I can't, I'm gonna cum," Angel whines, feeling on the edge of his high. Aki grabs your chin and tilts your head forcibly until you're looking at Angel.
With your eyes on him, your lips parted and Aki's thumb shoved in your mouth, Angel can't hold back anymore. He spills all over himself, cumming in thick ropes, getting his hand filthy. He looks so pretty when he finishes, his face blissful, his eyelashes heavy and fluttering. His voice is sweet and high pitched as he mutters an incoherent mix of swears and your own name. You swear you can see his halo glow brighter, spilling yellow beams of light onto his form, reflected upon his eyes.
Aki can feel you getting close, your cunt tightening around him, so he takes his thumb out; it's still wet with your saliva when he rubs your cheek and asks, "You gonna cum, baby?"
"Mhmm, mhmm."
"I'm close too," Aki chokes out. He clumsily wedges his hand between your legs, his fingertips rubbing precise circles on your clit, and he adjusts his pace, fucking you to a steady rhythm, one he's sure will make you cum. "Cum for me and Angel, and let Angel see your pretty face."
His instruction is all it takes before you're over the edge, cumming around Aki's dick, with your head tilted towards Angel. Aki feels you get wetter; he nearly slips out, but he buries his head in your shoulder, clumsily chasing his high, his hands gripping your waist to pull your body even closer to himself.
Angel slowly opens his eyes. He's still calming down from his release, his hand stroking his dick lazily. He pleads through shallow breaths, voice weak, "Aki… wanna see you cum on her. Can you?"
Angel just barely catches the way Aki gasps, Yeah, yeah, before he pulls out, his fist hastily jerking his cock until he's groaning in pleasure, cumming all over your stomach and your chest, getting you sticky and messy with ropes of his white cum.
Aki takes heavy, quickened breaths, and Angel reaches up to push messy strands of hair from his forehead. Aki cups your cheek and quietly praises, "So good, so good. You did so good for us. So perfect."
"Yeah, that was amazing," Angel nods in agreement, "I don't care what we have to do. Next time, you're gonna switch places with me, Aki."
Can you think of any more bllk misinterpretations? I feel like shidous a big one. Much love ❣️

just because hiori calls himself a sadist and likes crippled girls doesn’t automatically make him a menace. he’s a chill, relaxed, and often even shy person who often does favors for people without anything in return. (light novel, implied in the manga)
shidou is actually quite a calm and chill person as long as you don’t actively piss him off (rin) or if you’re not a soccer player. he often compliments people and is even willing to cooperate people who he dislikes. (egoist bible, implied in the manga)
chigiri has a very dislikable personality. this is due to his princess complex, narcissism, and arrogance. outside of his looks, he doesn’t actually have many fans because of his personality and character. (light novel, implied in the manga)
reo isn’t actually a gentleman and often has a hard time noticing when someone has romantic interest in him. because of this, he often doesn’t realize when girls like him, and when someone confesses, he automatically assumes that it’s because of his looks or money (he’s mostly right but sometimes wrong) (egoist bible, light novel, episode nagi)
kunigami is actually quite dense and doesn’t really realize when someone has any sort of intentions. he’s quite popular at his school but doesn’t actually realize it, and whenever people would play with him as a child, he took the games too far or didn’t understand the point of the games at all. (light novel, implies in the manga)
i like my repressed christian boys a lot if yall can't tell ;-;, couldn't pass up on this....tr will be back on schedule next!
Rollo Flamme never imagined himself as simply ordinary. He had always been destined to be extraordinary, committed and focused, willing to put in the work to achieve perfection. Yes, there was no doubt that there were ways to go to meet his goals, seeing as his fire lily plan went up in flames on first contact with that wretched Malleus Draconia and his Night Raven buddies despite his months of meticulous planning and careful scheming.
Yet here he was, walking at a speed Rollo hoped didn’t divulge how fast his heart was pounding away, your letter carefully tucked away deep within his robes, pressed right up against his chest. Green eyes concentrated on nothing but his next step, his poker-face and overall reputation as the Student Council President a god-sent for keeping unwanted attention away as he cut a path through the school towards his room, hands clasped in front of him as they always were.
Outside the gates of Noble Bell College, Fleur City was as lively as ever, the hustle and bustle of a city coming back to life under the gentle evening sun echoed throughout the conversely silent campus as people enjoyed busking in the remaining sunlight after a long day of work. It was an exceptionally cool day too, the white-haired boy noted to himself, the breeze sweeping down the hallways and bursting forth into the open air strong enough to lift the ends of his robes.
A respectful mumble of “Rollo-kaicho” rose from the scatter of students milling around as he walked past, though nothing that a returned nod of acknowledgement couldn’t settle.
The peacefulness that blanketed the stately campus as the sun sank further and further down the horizon reminded him much of the night of the Young Mage’s Social ball, and more so, you. Rollo could recall that particular evening with perfect clarity, the sights and sounds replaying again in his head as the purple-clad mage made his way indoors, the old wooden door swinging shut behind him with nay a creak, shutting out both the wind and the sounds of the city.
His own footsteps were the only sound ringing across otherwise empty corridors as the boy turned the situation he had found himself unexpectedly stuck in over and over again in his mind. It had never been his intention to fall over his own set trap, yet how was it he did so anyway despite all his wariness and discipline?
This had all begun as a plot for revenge right after he had been bested, by villains no less. It would be hard for Rollo to even admit that he had come to terms with the beating he received several months ago, let alone the night after it happened, and his next plot had already begun to hatch the moment you swept into view dressed in your masquerade costume, accompanied by none other than Malleus himself. From everything he witnessed, it was clear that the Draconia housewarden cared greatly for you, and dare he guess, maybe even had some unexpressed feelings for you.
Not that he hadn’t noticed you before that night, but it was certainly the first time that he had come to realize just how central a place you held among the Night Raven College students, and how crucial a card you would be in his next plan to wipe that smug smirk off of that wretched fae prince’s face.
The night of the Young Mages’ Social ball had been surprisingly ordinary, given what had just happened. He had been exhausted and dead on his feet, even if he showed no sign of it outwardly; the orderliness of the hall that he painstakingly cleaned after the last fire lotus had withered was a welcomed sight. Alas there was no time for sleep, not that it would matter given his already heavy eyebags. But despite his state, you had instantly caught his eye at the start of the ball, quietly huddled towards the back of the Night Raven group, trying your best to look anywhere but at him or at the rest of the crowd as you and your friends were singled out as the saviors of Fleur City. And it was obvious that you were feeling even more out-of-place as the dance began in earnest, though whether it was from the crowds or just general awkwardness, Rollo could not say.
Taking his leave from the merrymaking, the white-haired Council President could find no surprise within him when he found you sitting alone later outside of the hall, enjoying the peace and quiet that had fallen over the city with the arrival of night, looking up at the blanket of stars, a glass of what looked like juice in your hand.
“May I join you?”
You had jumped at his words, though you did settle quickly upon realizing it was just him for reasons unbeknownst to Rollo. “By all means,” you replied, waving him down to join you. After all, he did just try to essentially kill your friends and all mages in general. Perhaps you knew something he didn’t, the purple-clad student mused to himself, subtly watching you from the corner of his pale green eyes. Or perhaps you were just presumptuous, given you hadn’t been affected as badly as the rest.
The dark sky was clear of clouds, the dark of space dotted with twinkles as far as the eye could see, the moon hanging alone amidst the barren sky; an alluring sight for weary souls - and judging from how discreetly you had excused yourself from the social, you definitely were tired.
A pause as Rollo took a seat a respectful distance from you. “Too much?”
You nodded. “Too much.”
Whatever it was, you seemingly held no ill will towards Rollo, simply accepting his quiet company. And so the two of you sat in comfortable silence as the young mages danced and laughed the night away just a stone’s throw away. The minutes melted into hours as the world continued to turn, though the calmness of the reality around him was a far cry from the turmoil of thoughts within his head.
When the night started to grow old and the cacophony of noises began to die down, it was as if an unheard bell had gone off, and you reluctantly stood, empty glass now in hand - your friends were bound to come looking for you should they notice you were missing. And with you leaving soon and that night being the last one you were spending at Noble Bell College, it was finally time to launch the first phase of his plan.
”I would like to write to you,” Rollo started, immediately cringing internally as the words left his lips, but there was no going back now. “If it is alright with you.”
He held his breath as you considered his request, your head cocking to the side as you contemplated. “Sure, why not?” You shrugged, shooting him a light smile, your hair gleaming in the waning moonlight. “Goodnight, Rollo.”
Exhale. And that was that.
But now here he was, Rollo mused, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to read your letter alone. Has his plan gone astray? He shook his head, attempting to clear his thoughts of you, just till he could be alone. For all his routine and self-discipline, you were the one temptation he couldn’t seem to get squash down.
Coming to a pause at the fork in the hallway, the Noble Bell Council President paused. The last thing he wanted was to be interrupted tonight in the midst of his much-needed analysis of your letter, so against the burning desires of his heart and the weight of your letter heavy in his robes, he forced himself to take a detour, his feet carrying him down sparse corridors towards the councilrooms. It was easy to spot his Vice President still hard at work amidst the otherwise empty room, scouring through a stack of papers at his desk, head down and pen scribbling away.
A quiet clearing of his throat was enough to get the attention of the occupant inside. “Rollo-kaicho!” Said student rocketed up from his seat, hurriedly adjusting his slipping striped cap. “What brings you here at this time of day?”
“I wanted to check in before I retired for the day,” replied the white-haired boy, giving a courteous glance to the rest of the unoccupied desks before returning his gaze to the other. “Is there anything I should know about?”
The Noble Bell Vice President stuttered for a moment, lost for words and wrecking his tired brain in an attempt to find what to say. “I-uh-“
Pulling out his celestial-patterned handkerchief, his movement just barely managed to cover the disgusted look that fell over his expression, eyes narrowing and eyebrows furrowing as the stench of magic overwhelmed his senses, though Rollo still managed to keep his tone neutral. Even if he was the one to initiate contact, that hardly made a difference with his nausea. “It’s fine,” the magic-adverse mage managed to grit out without a hint of distaste, his tone as neutral as it always has been. “Please have the points ready for me tomorrow morning.”
“Of course, Rollo-kaicho. I apologize again.”
Finally being able to lock his room door behind him brought a relief much like cold water over hot iron, ending the depraved pulsing in his mind that the mere presence of the envelope in his robes against his chest brought on with every passing second. Tossing the heinous paper carelessly onto his well-worn table top, Rollo instead hurriedly picked it back up again, pale green eyes scanning for any further damage he had caused, though fortunately there was none to be found.
Letting out a sigh of relief, the white-haired boy settled into his chair. Now, to satisfy both his curiosity and anticipation.
Trembling fingers carefully peeled open the envelope, revealing a slightly yellowed, unevenly folded paper much to Rollo’s chagrin - he would have much preferred if you used a perfect white piece of paper, quality stationery instead of this random piece you must have had left over from your homework, and if you had folded it the same way he did all this time. But he supposed he couldn’t expect that high a standard from you, given the riff-raff of mages you found yourself in the company of. As he gently freed your letter from its paper enclosure, his sensitive nose caught a whiff of a familiar scent, the smell probably having lingered on from when you first mailed it out.
The light fragrance of your favorite shampoo, Rollo deduced, bringing the paper up to his nose. He recognized it, no matter how faint it was. You must have just finished showering when you wrote and sealed the letter if the aroma still endured. A breath of fresh air amidst the rank odor of magic and mages.
And then he began to read.
Dear Rollo, the letter began as it always did, those two words enough to have his heart skip a beat like nothing else could. But this time, the next few that followed were even better. Your letter came late, and it was sorely missed.
Line by line, you spelled out your daily ongoings, your interactions with your fellow schoolmates, your inner thoughts. Rambling about anything and everything that came to mind, thoughts spilling out without filter straight onto paper. About how Grimm (that filthy magic cat) nearly failed his test again and about how Deuce and Ace got into their latest spat of trouble with their housewarden Riddle. About how Jack and Epel were like to work with on your history project, and how you felt about one of your lunches being stolen by Leona.
Just like that, the minutes slipped through his finger, and with a pang in his heart, Rollo came to the end of your letter.
He placed the paper down on the paper, taking a breath.
How was it that he could feel so attached to another person through a simple piece of paper? How did you ensnare him so effortlessly, bypassing his hard-fought discipline as if it didn’t exist? Did all this mean that his revenge plot against Malleus had already gone awry?
The night was cool and quiet, the moonlight that shone through his stained glass windows bringing the Noble Bell Council President back to that fateful night. A light gust of wind seeped in through a small crack, creaking the old wooden panels in the floor as it blew through his room.
Your writing had improved, Rollo noted, as per his guidance in his previous letter. You were using a ruler to ensure straight lines, and your handwriting had neaten greatly; a far cry from your first reply to him, the memory of those scrawling letters that ran up and done and every-which way except straight across the paper still causing shivers to run down his spine. That was bad.
Carefully and painstakingly refolding the paper, Rollo stood, returning it to its envelope before moving to stow the letter within his secret compartment above the fireplace, with previous letters neatly arranged upright according to date received. His fingers lightly brushed past all your correspondence with him, his chest fluttering at your willingness to speak with him, his mind already churning with how and what he should reply to you. Would you be interested in perhaps coming back to Noble Bell? Maybe he should visit Night Raven College? Even if that blasted Draconia was there, it would be worth it just to have some private, personal time with you, the white-haired mage calculated, his hand tapping an unknown rhythm across his desk that he now leaned against.
There was no point in denying his obsession with you, not at this point - it had been awhile since you started to occupy his every waking moment and thoughts, and being as organized and detailed as Rollo was, he could pinpoint the exact moment when he began to spiral. Sure, his first letter had been full of nothings, meaningless pleasantries and stories that he polished to perfection over the course of a night of restlessness. But what he got back was your heart on your sleeve, your mind like an open book for him to pick apart and examine.
As things turned out, the more he picked, the more he found. Questions he sent always came back answered, with you evidently letting slip more than you intended to originally say, sometimes directly and sometimes when he read between the lines.
A single line in your third reply to him was all it took to begin his unending slide.
You were from a different world.
The more he sat on it, turning it around and round in his mind, the more his chest grew warm, and you began his center of focus. Even the mere passing pondering of what you were doing now was enough to grip Rollo’s entire being, to have his heart rate increase and his thoughts to jumble. After all, in this foul, tainted world, there could be no purer person than someone who came from a place where no magic exists.
You were perfection embodied.
In a twist of fate, you turned out to be pure, a shining beacon amidst the foul-smelling heathens. A gift from the heavens, a blessings from the divine meant for none other than him, that no one could properly appreciate except for him. Sure you weren’t the most orderly, and you did have your moments where you were occasionally wowed by magic, especially the inhuman feats from that wretched Malleus Draconia, but you remained untainted despite your constant proximity to the taint of magic that surrounded and cloaked you as if a heavy fog. Never indicated anything more than a passing interest in the magic that your companions wielded and an admiration that Rollo was sure he could rid you off. All you needed was time away from those mages, spent instead in his company.
Stepping away from his desk and moving now towards his personal bathroom, Rollo came to the answer he had been looking for as the boy moved to undress himself for a nighttime shower. It had been in front of him all this time.
The answer was no.
No, he hadn’t forsaken his plan to wield you against Malleus; sure the exact details had changed as the months went by, but everything he did was as he had schemed. Just that now, you didn’t have to be a means to an end, you didn’t need to be just another casualty wrecked up amidst his crusade against the villains. Stealing you away from the fae prince would be one of the largest blows he could deal with to that condescending prick, the beginning of his downfall - the excitement tingling at Rollo’s arms as he imagined the crestfallen expression that would twist Draconia’s face, the streak-free bathroom mirror reflecting the pale green eyes that lighted up in callous pleasure.
It would be glorious.
But for now, Rollo determined, schooling his face back into its usual neutral look as he turned to step into the shower room, what he needed to concentrate on was his next letter to you.
