What’s more perfect for a master study than Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel?
I thought it’d be kinda fun to keep exploring some of my old work from college with this master study I did from the igundi portion of the Sistine Chapel many years ago. It’s a perfect exploration into anatomy, figure poses, lighting and contrast, and even folds and textures in fabric.
It was really freeing to dive into this in my own style without having the constraints of making sure it looks good. Some stuff is a little wonky, but it still was a fun challenge to do. Maybe I’ll take it a step further and do it in color?
