#i love this stuff #i wanna try my hand at drawing some vg maps someday #not every game layout lends itself to a beautiful map. but for some the spaces themselves are just wonderful to unravel #smw isn't the best example cause its worldmap is already “illustrated” ingame. of course it's beautiful #but stuff like... mega man legends. no such ingame visualization but the interconnected world is so cool to piece together #the underground graphics are repetitive and dull. but the space itself is intriguing and compelling in its labyrinthine nature #and would be cool to illustrate
