A tasty Paleo substitute for typical fried snacks are these Crunchy Cauliflower Bites. Full of flavor and ideal as an appetizer or snack, they have a crispy coating made of coconut and almond flour.
Ingredients: 1 medium cauliflower head, cut into florets. 1/2 cup almond flour. 2 tablespoons coconut flour. 2 teaspoons garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/4 teaspoon sea salt. 2 large eggs, beaten. Avocado oil spray or olive oil spray.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and sea salt. Dip each cauliflower floret into the beaten eggs, then coat it in the flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the cauliflower florets with avocado oil or olive oil spray. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through. Serve hot as a delicious Paleo snack or appetizer.
