Hello! here are three images I made for the three art contest winners! Thank you so much for participating everyone, there were a lot of great entries and it was very difficult to narrow them down! We reached out to the three winners and asked them who they would like a picture of, and then I drew these on my live stream. The image above is for the first place winner, Β u/eggo_boiΒ !

In third place,Β u/___Benzene___Β , who made the beautiful image of Leigh on the Roof -Β https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1sjue1t/leigh_leading_sam_up_to_the_roof/Β , requested an image featuring the grinning goblin herself. I depicted the arm wrestling event with her for the reward image!
In second place,Β u/RecognitionStreet450Β , who made the amazing music video set to Queen's Under Pressure - Β https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1shcypw/under_pressure/Β - requested a tender scene between Sam and the Shadow, with the shadow putting a rose behind sam's ear!Β That's called self-care, people.
And finally, Β u/eggo_boiΒ who made the amazing, colorful shot of the sky and the cursed astronomers, Overview Effect - Β https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1scthor/overview_effect/Β , requested an image featuring Stargazer.
I went a little overboard for that one! The colorful painting they made gave me an idea, what if we got to catch a glimpse ofΒ what Stargazer sees when he looks aboveΒ ? And as a little extra, I added in the characters featured in the art from the two runner-up entries, the Spine 3D model byΒ u/freelanceottoman-Β (Β https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1sky9py/_/Β ) and The Kiss byΒ u/ayanyayaΒ with Jasper and Sybil, ( Β https://www.reddit.com/r/LookOutsideGame/comments/1sgwrpc/the_kiss_by_gustav_klimt_but_as_jasper_x_sybil/Β ) giving them all a time to relax and stargaze along with Sam and Edwin.

if i had a nickel for every time i clicked on a really long story-driven minecraft video with a green protagonist and got super invested in it, i'd have two nickels
which isn't a lot, but it's cool that it's happened twice!

avery snapping out of his trance and hearing the music swell was and is my favourite moment in the entire story, chills down my spine
i don't really deal well with horror, so i was really brave about watching the whole thing
super appreciate there not being any jumpscares in the entire story

the frame being as decorated as it is was directly inspired by how moe does her's! she's so cool, follow her right now
it's partially cut off, but the text on the book is just what was shown in the story "you are nothing" and then the block of censored text
all of the characters are represented here! i say that like there's more than 3 of them, but y'know
lots of flowers since they were an integral part of the routine avery was trapped in, but also just because he seems to be really tied to flowers in general? his shirt's got flowers on it, he uses honey blocks a lot and i've also seen lots of art with avery and flowers. it's really cute
the colours being the way they are is fully intentional

dova translate a character into his style without giving them animal features challenge impossible, i put ears and a tail (currently hidden from view) on the slime, i can't be stopped
my headcanon is that when slimes cry, their entire body gets a little less... bonded together? it gets drippy, especially around the face and eyes
so normally his fringe wouldn't be covering his eye like that, it's just droopy and goopy because he's sad
i... don't have that much to say about him really, i just wanted to make him cute and also a little creature
i will say that going from flats to adding shading and highlights to him was satisfying as hell though
