A lot has changed since the start of the year-- some changes we expected, some we never imagined could be possible, some better be ignored, but some should be given attention.

Christian Patricio, whose work we already featured before, once again reminds us to be vigilant and to have the courage to invoke our rights when necessary.

Sibol, the first issue of Kintal folio, is a product of the raw talent of its contributors and the hard work of our small team. Its creation is indeed an arduous but gratifying journey in itself.

While we wait for its launch on the 23rd, let's watch one of Sibol's contributors recite her poem from the folio.

We're thrilled to announce that Sibol, Kintal folio's first-ever issue, will finally be available to the public on August 23, 2020. Let this be our reminder that no matter the hurdles, we cannot let our passion die.

Hi! We are already in the process of editing the folio. If you submitted your work/s, please check your email to see if your work/s made it to the folio or not.

If you haven't received any email, it's either because: (1) you submitted an artwork, and it was selected; or (2) you submitted a written work which was selected, and no revisions were needed.

We have received entries from anonymous writers and here's one that caught our attention. To the one who wrote this, it is with great pleasure that we inform you that your submission made it to our folio. Congratulations!

For those who haven't submitted theirs yet, submission is only until May 20. Send your entries now and make it count!

Our first deliberation starts 1-5 days after receiving your entry (to determine which entry gets featured on our page).

The second deliberation starts immediately after the end of the submission period (May 20, 2020). This may take at least 20 days.

You may expect to hear from us on the 2nd week of June 2020. Thank you!
