People on your team are the ones who are mad at him for not throwing his money at the plan, which they blindly assume would've worked.

He said he wanted the plan to be publicly disclosed and the books to be public, and the guy he was talking about refused.

Why exactly should anyone trust you, when you admitted you don't actually care what happens to the money as long as it's supposedly helping and it's coming from someone you hate?

In reality, a lot of financial aid to help developing countries is embezzled. Which can cause lots of damage, especially when it's uncovered.

Such as freezing aid.

So blindly throwing other people's money at the problem demonstrably makes things worse.

And the US already spends a lot more than 6 billion every year. So does the UK. And France. And Germany. Sweden, Italy, and Holland all donate close to that much individually.

Because my parents didn’t have “The Talk” with me, I ended up learning everything from the internet. Being a curious child, I didn’t know when to quit and stop looking things up. Soon, it wasn’t pure childish innocent curiosity driving me to look sex related things up anymore.

I became addicted to porn before I was even 13. My parents never looked at my search history, never sat me down and explained sex, nothing. I love them dearly, and this isn’t meant to badmouth them as they’ve been amazing parents and role models in almost every other way. It’s just that, no matter if I don’t want it to, this addiction will have consequences and repercussions in any future relationship I may have.

Yes, sex education is important. But with children and young teens, that's about building healthy, strong relationships, the importance of consent, sexual health, the technicalities of pregnancy, knowing if they're being abused etc.

It's unbelievable that this has to be explained to some people. But this IS different from erotic, suggestive content in books aimed at children and young teens.

Children should know the formal names of body parts. And there's nothing 'erotic' about telling them where no one outside of a medical examination should be touching them.

Educational information is technical and yes, children and young teens need this.

But sexually explicit details of sex acts. There's neither the need or any excuse to give this to children.

In my own school days, we had the technicalities.

But there was never any question of responsible adults making sexually explicit material available to us.
