I feel like everything I make draws from real life in some way.

My parents were divorced and I would spend every summer at my dad's house. Inevitably, my dad would have a home project every time I was there. And, inevitably, it would end with a teenager sodding a lawn/smoothing concrete/building a goddamn deck while a lazy ass boomer sat in a lawn chair smoking and drinking beer the whole time.

Rith is that boomer.

(I fucked up the stairs on that deck so bad RIP to whoever bought that house when my dad moved)

I got the idea to have Kadol, Fikod, and Rith sitting in the wagon like the Big Lebowski meme. Then I had to deal with the panel of Rith losing his mind over vultures stealing the anvil and realized that he would, in fact, have the psycho killer sanpaku eyes when he's mad.
