Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Lord Zedd of Dino Fury is Zedd in his PRIME, right? From way before Mighty Morphin? Because his sheer size and aggression make him seem like he’s still an ACTIVE warlord itching for a fight, one who hasn’t yet built a stable empire with a throne to sit on all day or gotten minions to do most of his conquering for him.

If that’s the case, not only is this incredibly interesting, but the writers have saved themselves a lot of stress since they don’t have to worry about keeping him “true” to any previous characterization. The dude is young! He could have been anything before maturing into the menace we met in Season 2. This is all uncharted territory and they can just have fun with it. I’m so excited to see what they come up with!

Speak of the devil! I’ve been thinking about this guy a lot since finishing Operation Overdrive, particularly his decision at the end, and I think I’ve finally figured out what’s been bugging me about it.
