Lumine and Aether headcanons 1-5
Headcanons about fem!MC (Lumine) and her brother. My headcanons tend to be based on game facts or in-game mechanics (as the one below) and I hope you'll enjoy them!
1. Chores
Twins divided chores +/- equally but the one in charge of cooking was Aether. It's not that Lumine hated to cook, it's just she really loved her brother's food and didn't want to miss a chance to try it That's why at the start of the game she could only cook a fried egg or smth.
Aether did suspect that his sister wasn't suffering from the lack of cooking skills and tried to object.. only to surrender later. (the truth is, Aether actually loved treating his sister)
*based on the dialogue about chores and the cooking mechanic.
2. True element
Twins can change their element but they still have the one that is native to them For Lumine, it's Anemo. Her clothes are light which makes it easier to fly, the colours also resemble the wind. She even has feathers in her hair and little wings on her boots.
The "true" element of Aether is Geo. He has some sort of armour in his clothes, it looks heavier. He has lots of shiny thingies that resemble gemstones.Â
3. Opinion about each other.
Lumine thinks that her brother's the bravest, the most determined and undoubtedly the kindest person ever. Everyone fells for Diluc? If only they saw her brother!* She'll never say this to Aether though.

Aether thinks that he's got the best sister ever. She's so strong and talented that he has to put extra efforts not to fall behind. And she is so very cute. Aether often does something that might make Lumine smile. He never tells her but hopes she understands.
4. Lumine and Aether rarely say aloud how important they're to each other but only because it was way too obvious. They were inseparable. Traveled together, ate together: always together. Some may say that they were codependent but for them it was the most natural thing ever
5. Clothes and hairstyle.
It's actually Aether who thinks about his appearance and style more. He puts lots of time and effort to look "cool" and "like a hero". With his adoration to different belts and shiny stuff he sometimes needs to be stopped from putting on more and more.
He thinks long hair is also "cool" but at least Lumine began to tie them into a braid (so it won't get in the way in a fight) But it was Aether who started decorating her hair with flowers They used to sit in a flower field and put flowers into each other's hair

Pt. 2 On the topic of finding their sibling, I'm sure their companions are using whatever info gathering methods to help. Jean obviously has been conversing with Ningguang. Its not feasible for them to lay down all their responsibilities to journey with the Traveler either. The companions made in Liyue are canonically a chef and an heir to a business, decidedly not adventurers with time. Zhongli don't count because he's machinating everything. And Childe is well, Childe. Not a lot of options.
Thatâs also very important so I want to post it too. Thanks! Here again, Iâd like it to be more show in the game itself...
Pt. 1 I think you're overlooking some key points. Traveler did not just peacefully converse with Signora. They were at best ready to throw hands and at worst EXTREMELY exhausted and cautious. They went from Childe boss fight to Osial to an extremely uncomfortable situation after finding Zhongli. Not a lot of downtime and a lot of things were being thrown at them at the point of seeing Signora. Being inside a building in the middle of Liyue didn't help either.
Thank you for your opinion. It sounds right, itâs just... I guess, I wanted it to be shown better in the game itself. The confusion, the exhaustion, well, feelings or thoughts. I do realize that we have a scilent MC here but in such situations it looks as if they donât care (and itâs hard to headcanon they do). I think, what irritated me most, is Paimonâs remark that âwe should find all 7 elements firstâ. Why all 7? What if weâre strong enough with 4 or 5? And they get stronger too, yâknow. It sounded like such a game logic (to get the boss fight at the end of the plot) and I was very frustrated that we wonât be able to beat Signore up for who know how long. *sigh* At least before this I had some hopes it might be sooner that we finish 7 regions.... Anyway, thanks again for your thought. It really calmed me down a little and it helps a lot.

Am I the only one who feels so much guilt to Venti after MC encountered Signora in Liyue and did... absolutely nothing? Just stood and talked to her peacefully, like some people do during tea parties?
As if she and Venti were not friends?
Come to think of it, though...
Nobody and I mean nobody helped MC to find their sibling, except, maybe, Amber with posters. Yeah, there are characters in our âpartyâ but itâs not actually so plot-wise. MC fought Childe cannonicaly with Paimon only. She was alone at that time and she is alone during her quest. Only Paimon is with her.
Does even friendship exist in this game?
I would be very happy to be proved wrong.
Seeing people go "Ather is the canon MC" makes wanna make a PSA.
In this house, we respect both twins as "canon MCs". In-game cinematics makes more sense with Lumine and the Liyue web event has her as the player Traveler. We do not dismiss Lumine as "non-canon" in this house
Genshin Impact has this weird thing I just noticed while looking back in the intro cutscene in Japanese.
Promo material usually showcases Aether as the Traveller that the player chooses. However, the intro, or at least the bit from after you pick either twin until after said twin cries for the god to give back their sibling, seems to be animated with Lumine in mind.
Analysis:
The "Pick your twin" shot
When you pick Aether, the Lumine block thing is in the right hand. From his position, Aether seeming circles around the unknown goddess before trying to strike (originally I was gonna point out the use of the left hand... until I realize in the preceeding bits, both twins hold their sword with their right hand. I assume for cinematic purposes Lumine suddenly uses her left in the "pick your twin" bit). Also the goddess had the time to throw the Lumine cube to her left hand before looking at it apparently.
Both twins here hold their blade with their right hand in this just in case anyone wanna point out certain things.
As for Lumine
Noticed how things visually make a bit more sense with Lumine as the player character in this bit? The Aether cube ends up in her left hand and Lumine, from where she was, flies straight to the back of the goddess, who is still using the same hand while looking at the Aether cube. Everything flows better visually when you pick Lumine in this cutscene.
Where am I going with this? Well, I'm not saying Aether is not the actual "canon" Traveller as the promo stuff likes to make you think. It's just interesting that this is the one time something in the game is done with specifically Lumine as the player character in mind when promos usually have Aether in that role. Also so that if there is anyone stupid enough to dismiss Lumine as the "non-canon" player character because of the promo stuff, this can be proof that Lumine as the "canon" traveller is just as valid as Aether being the "canon" traveller.

on the one hand this is a joke post because lol i have never made a good post in my life, but also, if i hadnât made the connection between this update and my sudden nosedive in activity, i would have been really fucking discouraged about all the shit iâve been working on lately. i guarantee there are people on tumblr right now who havenât made that connection, and who are trying to figure out why suddenly no one likes anything theyâve made. and that fucking sucks.

This blog is down approximately 80%, which doesnât affect me other than as an annoyance (as this is a hobby and @okayto is small-ish) but the issue undoubtedly hurts others.

Welp it happened, the coffin has officially been hammered closed on both Kissanime AND Kissmanga. So now I guess is a good time to say this: if you used those two sites as your primary source/only source for watching anime, here's a few sites.
Gogoanime, 9anime, and animepahe, though I prefer animepahe due to no lag issues when watching in a higher quality, plus no false sites faking as the original site, like with the two aforementioned sites.
For manga readers who were using Kissmanga, I'd go to Mangadex or mangago, I use both since mangago sometimes doesn't have everything.
But ye those are a few sites I'd recommend checking out.
Characters aren't real
- People feel real feelings about them.
- In case you try to earn tons of money using a character, right holders would remind you that your argument âthey arenât realâ doesnât mean anything.
- something doesnât have to have a physical manifestation to be taken in consideration. For example, dreams. If you insult peopleâs dreams and hopes, that are not real, it wouldnât be nice as well.
Love in anime and games
Love never includes intentionally humiliating someone or something.
If someone wants to break, to see sufferings, it isnât love.
Therefore, if you draw/like/retweet fanarts where characters are severely humiliated, broken, raped - donât say that you love these characters. Because you do not.

Iâve been wondering... How did the cat get into the mansion? I mean, itâs not just locked, itâs in some magical space! And still, a cat? I have three theories.
1. Itâs not actually a cat, itâs a demon or monster. Donât really think it is so. Monsters might be dangerous for Claire, but Noel looks pretty relaxed.Â
2. Itâs another character under a spell, the childhood-friends-team just donât know that yet. Welp, letâs face it. The cat was more emotional in two frames than Willardo in the whole game. And it looks, kinda... you know.. safe and sane? While Ashe even while smiling has a dangerous air around him. So itâs time for a theory number three! 3. They got out of the mansion and found a cat there... *___* Okay, I know it doesnât sound plausible, but I just want to hope that itâs true.... Any other ideas?
