REGARDLESS OF THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES,    once it had been learnt that kisses were given as a gesture to welcome in the new year,   Eve had already taken on board the idea and thanked the stars she’d be able to spend more time on Earth.     It was so,   so much more fun than the lifeless task of eternal servitude.     Excitement for the midnight tradition is translated in the restless nature as the clock continues to reach closer to the designated time  –––  she’s said hello and danced with  e v e r y o n e   here at least twice,   but now comes to eagerly pull the coffee shop owner down with a light jump and push of hands on broad shoulders.     Eve’s gentle,   so as to not completely overwhelm,   the texture of his suit gliding to grasp the dip of the bottom curve of his ear under her fingertips.          ❝    Happy New Year,   Jas !    ❞

FIRST IMPRESSIONS WERE EVERYTHING,    or at least so she’d been told.     So far,   Earth had been…     More or less just as wild as she’d expected it to be  –––   though the attempted murder she’d experienced first had only a mere couple of days would seem off putting to some,   it had only piqued her interest in fellow humans:   their behaviour,   the things they did…     Her first celebration of a year starting a new despite having lived through many millennia,   the random act is a  p l e a s a n t surprise    (   exhilarating !   daring !   devilish,   even !   ),    as slender fingers mesh into the other woman’s lob…     Only pulling away with a breath of a sigh to exclaim while her gaze takes in the beautiful form before her.          ❝    Oh boy,   I really LOVE this holiday !    ❞
