HIS HANDS HADN’T STOPPED shaking since they got out. not since he helped ben and billy carry eddie’s unmoving body into the parking lot of the firehouse, screaming for someone to help them. not since they got to the hospital, since ben had to force him to get cleaned up. not since he washed eddie’s sticky, dry and cracked blood off his body and changed into the spare clothes he kept in his duffel bag. the duffel bag bev brought him. he felt like he was being babied. he felt like they treated him with kid gloves. they almost lost someone too. they almost saw one of their childhood friends die. but they weren’t coated in his blood, they didn’t see the fear in his eyes as he was skewered, they didn’t feel the way he did.  THERE WAS NO ROOM to sit in yet. there was no bedside to hold vigil at. eddie had been in and out of surgery, there was no allowance for visitors. but richie never left. he never went to a hotel, he never was far away. sitting in the hallway in a small chair that had been his post, outside of eddie’s temporary room, he stared at his shaking hands. no one had come near since the last nurse to ask if he was comfortable. he wasn’t sure he was meant to be sitting out here. or be here at all. but he didn’t think the regulations here were exactly tight ship. but he didn’t want to fucking think about that, because then the paranoia would come back of are they actually taking care of ed’s?  THE SOUND OF FEET made him lift his head. there had been no one, and suddenly -- someone. a man. he didn’t recognize him, but he didn’t recognize anyone here. the only reason he sat a bit straighter was because he was coming close to ed’s room. and if richie was anything, he was a guard dog. a guard dog with broken glasses, who couldn’t remember the last time he slept.  “hey -- slow the fuck down, people are resting, fuckwad.” 

‘ anyway, to continue, on tumblr, satan ( they still mentally refer to themselves as “satan” for their penname on tumblr even if they go by “mack” on this blog ), satan has two rather close-knit groups of friends. one consists of who they still affectionately refer to their “dgm squad” and they routinely call them their “ride or die”s. they consist of @spookholmer, @theyvowed, and another member by the nickname of “jam” who is on hiatus on tumblr right now. the other circle, which is unfortunately nameless in satan’s mind aside from a vague “ot4 squad”, also consists of @theyvowed but has two other members of @florcntissimae and @apricifate. of course, satan is also exceptionally close to other people ( such as @manaborn and @featheredjudge ) but as individuals rather than as part of a “circle”. there are, of course, more people that satan is close to, but satan is telling me to stop babbling and to finish answering already. ’

     “ jason ,  it’s  jakob . ”  he doesn’t give the other a chance to really respond as he holds the phone to his ear with his shoulder, hands busy with throwing a bag of clothes and necessities together.  “i  have  a  favor  to  ask . ”
