It's sunny days like this when I feel most nostalgic, day dreaming of those days I used to hang out with the stoners in the local park, drinking cider whilst they smoked their lives away because I thought it was cool. It wasn't, of course, but there's something beautiful about the concept of wasting your time doing silly crap like that because the people that do are always smiling. They know little stress. They will go nowhere in life at all, but they're happy. This is Paramore, not sure if you've heard of them (haha), but they were my idols back in the days of pink, black and side-fringes. Enjoy.

The transition from Winter to Spring music is a difficult period: do we find new music or simply hop back on the summery-guitarred indie pop? Hundred Waters straddle this line perfectly, sat quintessentially between creativity and listenability. They seem to be doing quite well on the Facebook likes, too. 

A classic pick-me-up anthem that is blaring out of my speakers and successfully distracting me from writing my assignment as we speak. Shame the deadline is tomorrow. 

Perhaps We Are Augustines should rename themselves 'We Are Everywhere' - my internet roaming has started to feel like a leisurely swim in a sea of Rise Ye Sunken Ships ads. In case you weren't aware of their presence, which I doubt at this moment in time, the band released their debut album on March 5th and they've already sold out their May date at Dingwalls, despite the fact that the show's press release is yet to be sent. I suggest you get on this now.
