I mean, movie-centric 80's Terry was a pervert.

Something the show later downplays immensely, but I'll remind you everything this man used to do originally was peppered with some air of depravity because no, I don't think being naked in the tub in front of your aged female secretary, butler, young business associate and teenage goons is commonplace, especially with the ease, cockiness and comfort Terry did it with like this is a day to day occurrence for him. No, being naked in the sauna on a coordinated overseas call with your equally naked friend on vacation who's currently getting rubbed down by two women (whose services it is implied you used too) isn't commonplace either. When's the last time you had a call like that with your old friends? That's right, never. Do you know anyone who's had a call like that? Yeah, that's right --- you don't. The I love it when he pounds him comment in relation of Mike Barnes beating Daniel up? Heck, every bit of overt commentary to grooming his whole approach to Daniel took?

I think it is all deliberate.

Sex is power and someone like Terry for sure knows this.

Having the upper hand in sex and sexuality and being the apex predator?

That too is power, because there's few things the vulnerable fear as much as someone taking advantage of them and someone who's thrived in the hyper masculine, Trumpian, greed-driven Yuppie world of the 80's where the likes of Gordon Gekko and Jordan Belfort reigned supreme too, this is a skill Terry Silver has for sure perfected. He is a being hailing from a world where being a man and being grossly sexual is rewarded and even encouraged without any consequences because money buys everything; in fact, it is so normalized it is merely seen as banter or locker room talk or as a way to aggravate or frighten that one young secretary here for a job interview and then relish in her unease and anxiety as it floods you like a power rush, giving one the impression Terry Silver, considering the events of TKK3 are the equivalent of a day off in the grander scheme of his existence probably behaves even worse than we've ever seen the movie show us. If this is how perverse he is towards some eighteen year old kid he took a casual week off to torment, around his general staff, around John Kreese, can you imagine how perverse he would be with people on an equal footing in terms of socioeconomic capita?

And what's worse?

He could get away with it because he is Terry Silver.

Terry having that GI for Daniel is proof that he has always liked to mark his boy see Daniel in a Cobra GI so everyone knows who owns him.

I also just realized that, although he told Daniel he just happened to have one he could wear it would have had to have been made for me. To fit him he had to know his sizing.

Did you have an idea of what happened in Terry's life (and Terry/John's relationship) to make him grow from Twig to (scary) Terry when you were thinking about how to play the character? Was it a single event or a gradual development?

It's totally fine it's not like I'm devastated that we never got to see the answer to this question in Season 6 Part 3 I'm doing fine EVERYONE IS DOING FINE!

Thanks so much! I definitely have some idea. I think we get hints of it in season 4 when we get the tattoo's and I talk about my father. Next time we see Silver he is in his more iconic style in Korea. I think its a gradual development where he takes his new found cobra kai philosophy and brings it to the world of business which I think sounds dope as hell!

It was dumb and pointless that they gave him cancer.
