“I still can’t believe you’ve never seen Addams Family Values before,” Babs said as she made herself comfortable on the couch.

“I was trying to keep Seattle from burning itself down. I missed a few movies.” She did take a handful of popcorn though, and shrugged. “--Sue me,” she said, her mouth full as she scrunched into the couch more.

Thank god the summoning chime from his strewn belt didn’t ring until after they were done. Or maybe it was just ringing forever, and neither of them were in a good position to hear it. Dinah certainly didn’t over Ollie getting a classic canary cry sound blurb out of her. Now, there was just beeping they’d ignore as she got her bearings back together with him in the crook of her neck (which would take a while).

What time was it anyway? Who needed them at one in the morning? Couldn’t Superman or Batman handle it?  That guy never slept. She clawed into his back more, an urging to not get up for the life of him. But god, she could tell, despite the fact doing what the did manage to leave him speechless-- a true miracle outside of the cry-- he would start talking again, and he sounded smug. His breath, heavy, sounded smug, and (rightfully).

“God, I love you.”

She gives him a soft few kisses to his temple.

“It could use a few kisses.”

“I don’t think kisses make concussions any better, Ollie.”

“How’s that pretty little head of yours doing now?”

“Hmm...” Only Bobbi could puncutate with a word as though it were nothing more than a terribly witty sigh (and all too common occurance). So dry. So sharp. So god damn perfect.
