How do you feel about where the Pouges ended up in the 18 month flash forward and do you think Jiara will still be together next season?
Apart from Cleo not being mentioned in the flash forward my thoughts are this -
JJ owning a charter boat ✅
John B owning a surf shop ✅
Sarah co owning said surf shop ❌
Why am I unhappy with that being Sarah’s move foward? Well besides the fact I think it would better suit to see John B and JJ as partners here, it’s mostly because it seems everyone else gets to follow their passion and Sarah gets to follow… John B? It’s just another reason why I don’t particularly enjoy them as a couple, because once again it shows how Sarah’s character is so reliant on John B’s that we (and apparently the writers) don’t even know what she likes or aspires to be. That’s not that unrealistic for a 18/19 year old but I do think it’s prime example of why her character could benefit from being alone for at least a season.
As far as Jiara goes, thank fuck it’s been confirmed that their will be flash backs to fill in the 18 months because between the lack of affection between them and the obvious nervousness on JJ’s face, I lean towards them being broken up when season 4 starts. I do think however that they’ll be back together by the time season 4 ends.
