“how can you be so sure?” elena wasn’t trying to tell her that he wasn’t the one, it wasn’t like that all and if anything it was impressive that she was so certain. there wasn’t much of that around anymore. “so it’s like how things used to be? traditional?” a small smile as she thought back to how her parents used to tell her the story of how they first met. she knew it wasn’t like that for everyone but it was as if it wasn’t like that for anyone anymore. “breaking up is uncommon?” elena hoped her and lawrence would never go through a breakup but she’d been through plenty with stefan. “i was wondering so a muggle is… me.” a small smile falling on her lips as she nodded. “so what your saying is i’m doomed?” she was only teasing as her smile grew larger to show the female that. “uh, no. she was great actually. she saved us more times than i can count.” bonnie bennett would forever be in elena gilberts heart. even if she couldn’t be apart of her life now; that would never change. “i wish i was surprised but honestly? i don’t blame you.” in regards to the ministry that they had to keep themselves a secret. 

“i just know —” she couldn’t explain it. “it’s destiny.” she spoke confidently but shrugged either way. “yeah, i guess so, i mean, i suppose breaking up when youre younger isn’t that uncommon but people are just more serious about their relationships, i guess? less dating for fun.” she explained, since a huge expanse of couples met in hogwarts and ended up together for life. tonks laughed and nodded “you might be a muggle.” she teased “but you seem pretty in tune with magical stuff so you’re alright.” the british witch promised. “see, everyone needs a witch in their life. where is she now?”

“Oh...yes,” she said earnestly. “I’ll wait for him forever - there’s no one else.” She assures. “Where I’m from things are more traditional and old fashioned. Most people find their life partner in school and have kids early. It was weird I didn’t, you know?” She explained, still morose over not having him as her partner, her hair faded to a mousey brown. “Divorce and splitting up is kind of rare too, actually but for muggles it’s normal - muggles are people without magic” she added. Tonks tilted her head in curiosity “blimey, a witch in a muggle school! And she didn’t burn it down? Brilliant.” Tonks knew well that muggles weren’t warm to those who were different. “Muggles just don’t understand, they fear what’s different. We have an entire ministry to keep ourselves hidden from them.”

— while it could be argued that his previous smiles around her were meager flickers, his present one was that of a BRIGHT LIGHT. it was an undeniable rush of warmth that sieged his chest, and theon greyjoy prayed that the feeling would last. how long had it been since he’d felt crushed with such an intense, pleasurable RELIEF? he could be swept away by the emotional state, and he’d thank the drowned god for his divine intervention. “really?” he repeated, his tone incredulous– but clearly THRILLED– like a little boy’s might be. like a young man who had been so thoroughly and consistently tormented that he doubted that such a fine, young lady could ever crave the likes of him again. “i…i could not be more overjoyed right now, sweet CELLA.” theon liked the idea of their nicknames being PARALLELS. sweet cella, sweet theon. meant to be, meant to grow old together. at his girlfriend’s mention of sansa, a change occurred in his expression. there was not hesitation or regret in what he’d asked of his blonde-headed beauty, though. “i had feelings for lady sansa for quite some time,” he was willing to concede with a strong nod of his head. “she is a dear friend of mine. and she shall always be that. but the nature of my emotions changed….” his soft blue eyes connected with the baratheon girl’s, as he took her little hands into his own scarred ones. “….it all changed once i met YOU, my lady.” at cella’s comment that she’d had a thing for him as a smaller girl, a look of surprise entered theon’s already widened eyes. “you…you did?” it almost felt too nonsensical of a possibility to believe. “are you sure that you are not mistaking me for ROBB STARK?” he inquired, only HALF of his tone teasing. 

she was relieved when he assured her his dynamic with sansa was now purely platonic, she was certain of it from sansa’s side, having seen her stare at sandor like he was the WORLD but she wanted reassurance from theon, if they were to be dating. she only needed told once, she would trust him with everything and his one time assurance was enough to secure her. she was naturally not an insecure girl. she confident and bold in her self so the fact she needed reassurance at all over the matter was a testament to her love for SWEET THEON. “thank you, theon, that was the only thing i needed to hear. i’m not the jealous type. i promise.” she smiled “but occasionally, as any girl does, i need to be told i’m the ONE.” she joked but it was true, really. it was a huge ego boost and delight to her to know she had been the one to change things and she was pleased she had put herself out there so boldly for his hand to court him and he had accepted and indulged in her follies. she licked her lower lip and beamed when he was surprised at her original crush. “i did! i liked you very much. i thought you were so cheeky and cute.” she gushed. “no, robb stark is handsome. yes but too pretty boy.” she insisted. “very much the type of boy you might find in kings landing courting a lady. you were the type of man the girls would secretly want to go out with. the bad boy - so i had that little fantasy and now i’m grown up and realise i want a good man with a good heart - you’re exactly that.” she smiled. “how lucky was i? to have both.”

— “one little kiss,” sandor repeated with an intentionally dramatic roll of his eyes. if she was to engage in yet another game of repartee, then once more, he was not about to make winning EASY for her. “you kissed me like you were DROWNING,” the male taunted, not able to know that his words were direct reflections of what the female had been thinking– consciously or otherwise– during the night of the party. “….and i was the AIR.” somehow, despite the fact that even he was delving into infrequently chartered grounds, his common blush was yet to arrive, and to color his cheeks. perhaps it was because he felt SAFE with her. like she would not tease or bully him, like so many women had in the past. “it’s like you said. if you were on your knees, you’d only reach my thighs.” dark eyes flitted back down to the outline of sansa’s mouth. she had sweet, supple lips to gaze at. although, sandor had to give the woman credit. when they collided with his own, she had just the edge that he craved. “so we’ll have to get CREATIVE. prop you up somehow.” for now, all of their chatter was simply that. it was make-believe, securing the purpose of riling each other up. and generously, that of BONDING. until such an intimate moment may transpire though, sandor would operate under some level of disbelief that such a beautiful, powerful, and tender-hearted female could desire the likes of him. not only as a LOVER, but potentially as a partner. it was all too good to be true. the remnants of some adolescent fantasy that he’d dreamed of at night to distract from his brother’s bullying, and his father’s concealing of gregor’s harsh acts. “oh, i would show you all of the time, QUEEN sansa.” he couldn’t help but use the later label that she’d assumed. after all, it more adequately represented who she was. A QUEEN. “and when have you known my TALK to be all that impressive?” he asked teasingly. arching an eyebrow, he asked her– half-seriously, half-prodding– “are YOU all talk, my lady?” 

“i WAS drowning. i was drowning —” she kissed over his face, his burn marks, his scars, she did not care. sandor had given himself to her. he was hers. “in a sea of people i don’t know, i don’t like. all i can see is you.” she breathed, kissing down his jawline. “so you are the AIR and i’m not ashamed to admit i went to the party wanting you to kiss me. i dressed so you would NOTICE me. i cut a slit in the dress because i wanted your EYES ON ME.” she could not believe how raw and candid she was becoming but she felt so secure in his arms. perhaps him holding her gave her a new confidence from a different perspective but she wanted him to know everything. “i went in there ACTUALLY with the intent to bed you but i got nervous to follow through.” she said looking to him. “so no, my puppy, i am not ALL TALK. i am desperately craving to give you the action i so talk about.” all of which was true, she longed to have him...the small issue was she had no idea how to TAKE HIM. he was a six foot six giant so she couldn’t exactly push him down and hop aboard, nor would she really want it that way.  she needed him to help her initiate because sansa was clueless on how to. “so what do you say to that?”

— the sight of daenerys without her clothes could never fail to leave him breathless. and it was true, that he’d seen her exposed before. she was strong, beautiful, and naked then, too. but now, she was HIS. now, she could be a woman with the man she loves. instead of a bold khaleesi, standing before her subjects, with her loyalest soldier bent at his knees. “daenerys…” jorah began, tempted to speak endless testaments to her unbounded beauty. but by the time that his slowing mind matched the pace of his aroused body, his beloved was already tugging at his belt. once the man’s shirt was removed, the silver-haired lady was able to drink in the sight of his strong chest. of his broad, bear-like shoulders. of his back, which rippled with waves of pure muscle. you’re beautiful, my love. if the pair had shared this moment of unadulterated passion earlier in the onset of their romance, he might have protested her compliment. but he would not spoil their first night of shared indulgence due to utterances of his own insecurity. not to mention, he NEEDED her. and he needed her NOW. neither bears nor dragons were known for their patience. jorah was quick to obey dany’s plea, peeling off what remained of his underclothes. until he was entirely vulnerable to her view. and while the man had matured over the years, his attractiveness had not waned. his architecture was as impressive as it had always been. he was crafted of VALYRIAN STEEL in all respects. in all places, too. blue hues lusted with desire, but he remained– stood straight and tall– knowing that daenerys would want to take in the sight of him. at least, for a few seconds. not for much longer, of course. ser jorah was ACHING for her. 

the girl SMIRKED when he undressed for her and showed her the view she had wanted to see for some time now. she looked him over, drinking in the sight of the broad man. his scars added to the appeal for her, he was someone who had been through things. if she wanted a pretty boy, fresh and pure, she would have gone to one. no, she wanted a man who had weathered life and come out stronger and more attractive. she could see the tapestry of his life on his chest and arms, feathered with gingering chest hair and how IMPRESSED she was. “oh, jorah.” she breathed, a rare time she excused the honourifics. she lunged at him and she mauled his mouth, holding him to her height as hostage for her lips before she forced herself back on the bed, forcing him with her. “i always knew you would be a delicious sight and a day soon i will take more time to find everything about that is delicious, my love. but we’ve waited much too long. i’m STARVED for you. i long to be with you.”
