A little plug from us for this up coming show at Slung Low in Leeds, that looks really interesting.

For Black History Month 2014 SAA-uk took part in a day of workshops and performances at Leeds library. We've very proud of our ladies for sharing their poetry, well done!

You know how kids can sit and draw or colour pictures for hours? Try it! It's so relaxing!

The sad news of Robin Williams' suicide has catapulted the topic of depression into the limelight of the national media. Depression is a serious, often debilitating, sometimes fatal illness that can affect anyone - even the funniest, most uplifting souls. Depression should not be dismissed, nor should those who suffer be labelled selfish, as often happens. It can affect any of us and all of us - we should strive to be more understanding, tolerant and supportive when a fellow human being is suffering.
