So this is what i think: Zhan is soo much gayer than jian yi and is in love with him but just isn’t aware of it cause he’s dense as fuck. Here we go. 

1) He values Jian Yi’s life over his own 

‘Love is putting someone else’s needs before yours’ Zhan would literally do ANYTHING for him, including giving up his own life to protect him. 

2) Jian Yi comes first, always

What about his sister? Or a cute girl who’s in love with him? Nope, Jian Yi comes first. He’s literally the only person he thinks about all day every day. Zhan has a problem. 

3) The blushing

What kind of guy blushes furiously when his bro calls him by his first name? A gay one. 

4) All the staring 

Zhan needs to get a life. He literally looks at him through a shojo manga filter with all the sparkles and bubbles. He thinks he’s an angel and angrily yells at people who say otherwise.

On a lighter note, the word on Jian yi’s shirt is 寿 (pronounced shòu), which has the same pronunciation as 受 (which is the Chinese slang for bottom/ uke), so some fans think Old xian is giving us a hint on who’s the bottom ^^
