golden boy

so um. most of my colorings are rather experimental than technical and planned.... it’s just a messy process of throwing a bunch of layers and adjustments together and hoping it works out bc i self-taught myself how to use photoshop and don’t actually know the full capacity and proper uses of the tools lol ???  you can kind of tell based on how simple and subtle my colorings are wow this is so embarrassing to admit,,,

but yeah.... a few things i would say are consistent characteristics of my colorings are 1) adding warm tones, especially if the lighting is very blue or pale 2) emphasis on reds 3) reducing whites and sometimes neutrals 4) trying not to overdo the black selective layer 5) muting bright colors ! i don’t really get creative until i gif live performances tho mostly bc the lighting is always so wack and unpredictable loll
