Puppy Fun

This little family is important to me, and in the part of the Midwest where they live I've personally experienced windchills of up to 30 below zero Fahrenheit in a bad winter.

It's already below freezing most mornings there this time of year, and temperatures will be even colder once winter hits.

Their car heater core has gone out completely. She borrowed $800 from someone she knows to replace the radiator (and did get the radiator replaced) but the heater core will cost around $1000 to fix, and there's just no way she can afford that esp while working on paying back such a huge amount.

This family is living well under the poverty line. I routinely send them necessities because even I, also well under the poverty line and having to beg myself from time to time, have more resources than they do. They can't absorb this cost, and without help they will simply not have a car heater.

Any little bit adds up. I know my friend will be selling plasma and cleaning every house she can trying to make this work too.

The "friend" she borrowed money from is an employer who she needs to pay back asap to remain on good terms and who will not be actually GIVING any money to my friend.
