Well, pumpkins are orange. 

Oh, true, i just think that is the least likely reason. but i guess that they might also be people who do red and green for christmas

Is there some sort of group Halloween costume going on that I don’t know about? Had at least five people yesterday and today come in wanting their hair dyed green or orange.

Orange i cannot understand, but green..i mean they’re going all out for beetlejuice

Coming back to Lima was a moment that Margot made very impulsively. The eldest McIntosh had a knack for showing up somewhere without any thought or plans. “Oh my god, Kenziekins!” Margot excitedly exclaimed. If there was someone she hadn’t seen in a while it was Kenzie Puckerman. She had yet to come back since Kenzie and Wren took their friendship to the next level. Grabbing Kenzie’s hands in hers, she smiled. “I know, right? I just felt like there was no better time to move back than now! I mean, like I’m sure New York will go to hell without me, but I think like Lima needs me,” she said, before moving onto her next topic. “So, you and Wrenny? Give me all the deets. He’s like treating you right, right? Because I’ll like punch him and ruin my manicure if I need to.”

Kenize couldn’t help but let out a small laugh at the older mcintosh’s reaction to seeing her, tossing her pen into her note book she let her take her hand, but picked up her coffee with her free hand. “Most of us want out of here, so i’m desperately confused why you willingly came back?” she really was wondering why and hopefully wasn’t prying too much. “Oh my god, don’t call him that. he death glares me if i try it” Kenz could feel her cheeks getting flushed. “He treats me like a queen, though i swear if i come home with one more halloween or fall thing, i could be pressing my luck with that.” she shook her head. “No need to punch him though i promise.”

There were always certain constants in Lima, Ohio that Margot could never forget. One of those constants being the Lima Bean. It was a Lima staple and when Margot was a wee teenager she would spend all of her allowance stopping by and grabbing an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and a croissant. It was absolute heaven, but now that she had experienced New York pastries and coffee, she wasn’t sure it’d be the same. For fucks sake, she had been to France and had smoked cigarettes, drank coffee, and fucked a Gaspard Ulliel lookalike for a week. Or… was it Gaspard Ulliel, perhaps? Either way, she had drank and ate far more delicious items in different countries and states, could the Lima Bean really live up to her expectations? So as she took a walk from her apartment, she entered the coffee shop and was filled with the aroma she once remembered from her teen years. Grabbing her usual order, she was a little offended no one had recognized her yet. No applause? No ‘welcome back, Margot’? These Lima duds didn’t know shit about greeting superior people, did they? Grabbing her croissant and her coffee, she found the nearest table and sat down, dramatically tossing her sunglasses from her face to her table until she realized someone was sitting in front of her. “Oh my god, you can’t just like sneak up on people like that,” she teased, a clear joking manner on her face as she smiled. Taking a sip of her iced coffee, she grimaced at the taste. Was it too pretentious if she preferred NYC coffee instead? “Do you think they can like… burn iced coffee? Because I think this is kinda burnt,” she said, pointing to her drink. 

kenzie had too much school work to do. between that, and the fact she couldn’t just run into target right now shed end up over packing her and wren’s place with more halloween stuff and she was sure she was one skeleton away from him dumping her. pushing hair back behind her ear, and scrolling on her computer before typing something in to it looking up when she heard the voice that sat down across from her. “I mean i wouldn’t be surprised if they did. But when the hell did you come back Margot, feels like New York ate you and we’d never see you again.”
